Working out of town has me missing home cooking, coming to Taco Block reminded me of all the home cooking I grew up on. Everyone was perfect, including service. They actually care about their food quality and keeping guest satisfied in every bite! 10/10 will be eating here again!
My husband and I were driving through Denver and decided to stop by and eat tacos from this place. So glad we did!! They had amazing tacos and the service was outstanding. They were super welcoming and helpful with all of our questions. “Brazilian limeade” the lady made me was SO GOOD. Churros were fresh and delicious 😍 They informed us that their flavors were authentic from Mexico, and the corn tortillas were freshly made. Definitely will come back when we are in Denver...
Food is ordered at a walkup counter buffet. The buffet food is prepared in the mornings. We had very meaty traditional tacos with beans and rice. There is a small bar counter to order liquor and beer; the bartender made my margarita to my specifications! The service was fantastic, as there was nobody else dining (Saturday at dinnertime, hmm?). Apparently one of their specialties is aguas frescas.
