I decided to try this local spot instead of my usual go-tos like PF Chang’s or going to Ft. Collins, hoping to support a smaller business. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.
The Mongolian Beef was inedible—it came with shaved beef, which I’ve never seen used in this dish before, and the smell alone was off-putting. The taste didn’t help either and it ended up in the trash. The fried rice was misleading—it’s basically white rice tossed with soy sauce, not what you’d expect from a proper fried rice.
The pan-fried noodles with chicken were the final straw. The texture and flavor were so off that I could barely get through a bite. I hate to leave negative reviews, but the food was genuinely unpleasant.

I expect Pad Thai to have veggies and to be spicy and flavorful with a good amount of peanuts on the top. The Pad Thai that I got tonight was some chicken in dry, flavorless noodles, and about a teaspoon of peanuts. I was very disappointed.

This 20+ year, family-owned restaurant is fantastic. The food is so fresh and authentic and the staff and owner are amazing. We got the Kung Po chicken and orange chicken with noodles and fried rice. It was some of the best Chinese food we’ve ever had.
