Went here yesterday for lunch. Waited 15 min to even get acknowledged. Then another 15 to get water and Pepsi. After we ordered our lunch, 4 meals ...took an hour to get it! Waitress came by once in that time to check on us, asked for more water, never got it. ...waited to even get our bill. We gave up waiting and went to register to pay.
There were only a handful of other customers at this time .... Food was good, when we finally got it. If you want a quick lunch, Don't,.....go here! No excuse for bad service....I can't imagine how they will stay in business.....I know golfers like to stop in, but hopefully not in a hurry.....
Great place to take your significant one and have some good food to share. The golf field is right there.
Such a fun spot! Bartenders Sara and Angela are the best!
Went with my siblings to try a new place because the menu sounded good. The experience was absolutely horrible. We waited for awhile to be helped and never was. There was waiters walking around us and assisting everyone else but did not acknowledge us. Would never try to go there again nor would I recommend this place
Came here to try some place new. Didnt get helped whatsoever. What kind service is this?
Didn't order because no wait staff to assist. Several tables waiting and leaving.
I ate at The Sand Bar last night. It's down in the basement of the main restaurant clubhouse (upstairs on the main level is their fine dining). The booths are like golf cart seats, and the ceiling is painted blue like the sky with wraparound accent lighting behind a little shelf that's recessed in the ceiling. The cheeseburger I got was a bit too dry, and the tots could've been sprinkled with seasoning. The Key Lime Pie was good but very sweet. The standout for me was the chicken taco! They put about as much chicken and cheese as would fit in it. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth. It tasted delicious. After the dry burger, the chicken was nicely seasoned and dripping with juice.
The sink in the men's room was broken, meaning they needed to reattach the faucet to the granite sink. Water still came out and I could wash my hands. They said someone else also let them know and that they'd put in a work order to get it fixed.
But the most unpleasant thing about the whole meal last night was the obnoxiously loud guy sitting at the bar dropping frequent f-bombs. Looking over at another family table of 4, they seemed to be a bit uncomfortable and glaring over at him. Look, I get it. People get loud, rowdy, and drunk at a bar. I'm not a member here, but I have worked at a few country clubs. Stuff like that might happen out on the golf course, but never in the restaurant in front of children and more elderly members. At the very least, I don't think it unreasonable for one of the bartenders or managers to have asked the guy to speak a little quieter so that the whole restaurant didn't have to hear his many conversation topics and vulgar language.
Amazing staff. Sarah and Shane were super nice! Went above and beyond to help us.
We'll be back
Great food. The thin crust pizzas are excellent. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top notch.

Very fun atmosphere sitting on the edge of Pelican Lakes Resort and Golf. We sat outside on a Saturday evening and heard " Strange Brew". Love the Caesar salad with prime rib ?

I went with my father wanting food and drink. There were 2 tables of people outside.4-5 waitresses came by none acknowledging us. I went in and asked if there was service out there. They said they’d send someone over. After 20 minutes waiting without acknowledgement we left. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Only people they know get served. Extremely poor service.

It was the first time any of us 4 had been to this location. The first thing each member of our party noticed and commented on was the beautiful interior design of the club house/restaurant. The staff was cordial but that is the extent of positive things I can say about our experience at this restaurant…Each and every entree was disappointing. Thursday is supposedly the restaurant’s signature weekly prime rib night. The $25 prime rib was under seasoned and over cooked. (It came out looking like the meat had been boiled) not to mention, the sides were bland and odd. The asparagus was unpleasant, and the mashed potatoes were oddly sweet, to the point that they were not eaten by either patrons who ordered the mashed potatoes. The $17 patty melt was dry, under seasoned, and barely melted. The first half of the sandwich the patron bit into had cold spots within it, while the other half was warmer and more melted. Which suggests both halves of the sandwich were not put symmetrically under a heat lamp, or even worse, were not cooked at the same time…to compound that disappointment, the patty melt included a side of fries where multiple fries were cold or even still frozen in the middle. And I can’t forget the most expensive item ordered, the $28 salmon entree. It was supposed to include an overall lemon flavor to the entree, rice and green beans. I am still searching for it. The rice was cooked well, but it was remarkably unflavored. the green beans were dry, and the salmon was undercooked. Leaving the patron with a very dissatisfying experience.the best tasting items were the appetizers, the soup of the day, and the salads. Which are hard to mess up.For the price, it was highly disappointing. Maybe this place is more ideal in the summer, during happy hours, when the weather is nice, and the “bar food” aka apps, burgers, pizzas, and beers are discounted. But I am very reluctant to give this place an other chance at the prices they list. Why pay $17-30 for each entree that you would prefer throw away rather than eat?
