Ted's Sweetwater Grill

This review is for our waitress-Riley! :) We did have a long wait for our fish & chips ( out of her control) -but she is a killer waitress! So personable/genuine & kind!! I manage a coffee stand and have worked in a few restaurants... She is absolutely STELLAR!! She made our entire experience well worth it. Food was great and worth the wait, as well as a neat restaurant setting. Thank you so much Riley.

It was horrible; they did not bring us our food for 2 hours. We were sitting there for 2 hours, and we didn't even get our food. I heard that they were super good and was looking forward to trying it, but we didn't get our food, and we waited 2 hours.

Great service, good food, and a really nice atmosphere. The manager was helping his staff get tables ready and checked on us throughout the meal. Plenty of parking. We made a reservation, thankfully, as the restaurant was full on a Thursday night!

Great atmosphere and our waitress was wonderful, but I ordered the Caesar salad with “grilled chicken” and when it came out I almost gagged due to the cat food- like smell. Definitely not grilled, more like canned. Our waitress was awesome and let me order something else, so I got the wings and they were great!

Coolest place ever, fun atmosphere!!

We thought this place looked good driving by a few times. It has potential to be a great venue. The kitchen was extremely slow to get food out...well over an hour after ordering. They sent one or 2 dishes every five minutes until all of us had our dinner. The pizza didn't have any cheese on it and tasted horrible. All of the other dishes were either cold or very mediocre as well. Our waitress was nice but was doing double duty at the bar. All in all, I would never eat here again...very disappointing!

This was for Mother's Day brunch, not their typical fare. It seemed very disorganized, and the mains they were serving were sorely subpar. The prime rib was very disappointing. Honey smoked salmon AND honey baked ham? The chocolate croissants, which I was very excited about, weren't cooked all the way and the dough on the bottom was still raw. The buffet itself was a mess with spilled food and sauces and we got there fairly early. It cost around $90 before tip for my six year old and I to eat potatoes, scrambled eggs, and fruit. On top of all that, it took ages to get drinks and ages to get our bill. It didn't appear outwardly to be that busy, we were surrounded at all times by unoccupied tables. My child actually flagged down a different server because he wanted to leave. We will still go to Ted's because we do like their normal menu and weekend brunch (service is always slow, we are used to it) but hopefully their next brunch buffet event is more organized, for their sake.

We had made reservations on Mother's Day and there was no indication that it was buffet only. We were told by the server that they were “backed up” on brewing coffee so we didn't actually get any coffee until we were close to finishing our meal. We were only checked on once by a server that wasn't even ours and then get the bill of $260 for a buffet for 4 people. The food, the service and the cold shaded patio was not anywhere close to being worth that kind of money. I have never written a review for a restaurant before but felt this was so disappointing that a review was warranted.

Oh boy. We decided to go to Ted's for my father's 70th birthday. This included my family of 5 (kids 5 through 12) and my elderly parents. We got to Ted's at 11:00am with an 11:15am reservation. They sat us at 11:15am. Great! It took 20 minutes to get a server to get us water, ordered two cheese curds apps at the time, and placed our entree orders. At 12:10pm, almost an hour after being seated, we received our cheese curds. We debated about staying or going, but decided to stick it out and wait for our food since it was my dad's birthday. They came a bit later and told us they were out of eggs so it needed to be scrambled on two entrees we ordered or order should be changed. That's fine. At 12:45pm, an hour and a half after being seated, we still did not have our food. My kids kept entertained by the pond but were very hungry at this point. The straw that broke the camel's back was the table that was seated an hour after us received their food (they were also complaining of the wait time). I went and found the manager and said we were leaving because it had been almost two hours and we were still waiting on food. I asked her to clear our check and comp the appetizers because my kids could not wait any longer. She agreed and we left. It was a very poor experience and very sad that this was my dad's 70th birthday meal. We expected more from Ted's.

Half-full restaurant with an hour wait to get 3 cold entrees, never had pot pie with hamburger buns as crust before! Food was marginal and way too many staff members walking around during dinner. Was looking for a yummy dinner and was very disappointed. Won't return.

The biggest disappointment was the length of time it took to get our food. We waited a minimum of an hour. During that wait time, there was no update from our waitress. Just too long to wait. When we got our food, it was good.

Our first time here. Server was very pleasant but failed to let us know it would take 30 minutes for food (burgers) and then said “they are plating it now” and it was still 10 minutes. Food was almost cold. Tables were not all filled and seemed to be enough help. As a diabetic on a pump I need to release insulin 10-15 minutes prior to eating. I did so shortly after ordering a simple meal. A mistake for me as the long wait risked my getting in medical trouble. We made a reservation and were early for it, even seated quickly. It went downhill from there.
