Food not the quality we expected for the high prices. Cocktails excellent, food mediocre. Service excellent.
This was our first time at The Lodge and it couldn't have been a better experience. The food was great and our ‘guide' Mackenzie made our Christmas Eve night out very special. Definitely coming back again.
The Lodge is our go-to place for a nice meal -- our favorite restaurant in Windsor! The food is excellent and the service is always top-notch!
Environment was clean and nice. Food took over and hour andn15 minutes to come out. The price of the food was super high compared to value and size of portions. The food was mediocre, and wasn't hot. It was lukewarm. Won't be returning
We had a great birthday dinner. The kitchen fell a bit behind and the front of house did a good job recovering. Overall, a good experience.
First time to The Lodge last night. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Very vibrant feel. Got our reserved table immediately. Service very friendly. We did have to wait quite a bit from ordering to receiving drinks and food but we were not in a rush so not too bother some. Food was excellent. I had the grouper and the other 2 at our table had the waygu. Not a drop left on anyone's plate. Dessert was good too. We all left very satisfied. Will definitely come back!
This was our second time dining at The Lodge and we were thrilled with the experience both times! Their staff is very well trained and their customer service is superb. The menu is unique and well throughout while still familiar. You can tell the team there believe in the mission to offer a next level experience for a great value! Thank you to the team at The Lodge for a great experience (twice)! Can't wait to dine with you again! (Try the fried brussel sprouts with bacon, red pepper flakes, and hot honey drizzle!)
Gage was fantastic, excellent food parings. The butter that came with the lobster tail was phenomenal
We made reservations for a Friday night and were seated immediately. Everything about the experience reads lodge including their lovely fireplace , wood beams and antlers over the bar. The staff were welcoming and attentive the entire night. The atmosphere made For the perfect date night. My wife and I both had the 9oz fillet which were cooked perfectly. We'll be back.
After giving The Lodge five stars on two earlier reviews, it was disappointing to have to rate last night's dinner a three. The appetizers of pot stickers and whipped ricotta were good as were the wedge salads. The rest of the meal was okay, at best. The pork chop was cooked medium well and was dry. This was a much thinner cut of pork than the one we enjoyed at our last visit. Both the halibut and grouper were over-cooked. My short rib ravioli were tasty but I honestly thought I was ordering ravioli stuffed with short ribs not two separate components. We ordered two desserts, the carrot cake and cheesecake. The cake was a chilled slab that was garnished with irregularly cut RAW carrot sticks. Who does this? The cheesecake was boring. At least half of both desserts were left. Whoever scheduled the waitstaff staff last night, is to blame for the sub-standard service. It appeared that there was one server along with two or three bussers for the entire dining room. Mackenzie was pleasant but it was obvious she was juggling too many tables to provide attentive service. Our dinner experience was a series of waiting 5 to 10 minutes for something; a menu for bottled wines, our drink delivery, the clearing of used dishes in between courses, salt and pepper. We had to flag MacKenzie down and ask for two of the four wedge salads that had been ordered but forgotten. We invited two close friends, who appreciate an excellent dining experience, to join us for dinner. It was a very disappointing evening for all of us. This was not what I am accustomed to at The Lodge.

We went to The Lodge to celebrate my birthday and we were very pleased with our visit. Wait staff and food were excellent. I do miss some of the food options from they're old menu.
We sat in the wine nook by the fireplace. It was cozy but a bit loud. Everything, as always was wonderful!!! The food was delicious, ( we has risotto, steak, ravioli and pork chop), various salads- all so very delicious. Lauren was an amazing server. Thank you, again, for a great meal at a great value with amazing service!!
Our first time here and it was excellent! Took my husband who is difficult to please and he loved the burrata, short rib ravioli and the saints cider. I had the pumpkin sage risotto with chicken, it was delicious . We are foodies and we love trying new things and this place had it all for us. We were served a sample of the whiskey sour and my goodness, it was amazing. The ambiance is relaxing and can be romantic. The interior design is beautiful. I can't wait to see it in the summer since it sits on a lake. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Everyone we interacted with was a pleasure. We went on a Saturday at 5pm ,the weekend before thanksgiving ,with a reservation.
This is our third time dining at the Lodge and it's consistently been a great experience. We really enjoyed our meals! Server was great, wish I could remember his name. If I HAD to complain, I'd say BRING BACK THE KEY LIME PIE!
The atmosphere is lovely, the servers were great, cocktails were pretty darn good... some of us loved our food and some of us didn't. It was not a place I want to go back to eat but will go back for cocktails.
