We both had the chicken fried steak, one with brown gravy, one with white gravy. We had a sample of the green chili soup and I wished I would have gotten a order of that. But the chicken fried steak was bomb. The service was spot on. No wait time, the hostess was very friendly and the waitress we had was on top of being gorgeous had an awesome tude and wonderful smile.

First time visiting we like going to local restaurants we like homemade food and the price was unmatched the only complaint I have is my salad didn't have croutons even though it was on the menu. The staff was nice but not all that attentive to what we were asking for. My husband's burger was cooked well done when he asked for rare (cool pink center obviously pink showing) there was no pink.

Disappointing. Three of us had room temperature food.
The server had no personality, and it was a damper on the expereince.
We had been waiting to come back here after a great experience about 1.5 years ago. In the past, the food was tasty and hot, and the service was great!
Total disappointment this time.
My son had the only partially hot food... chicken fried steak. The steak was good, but the mashed potatoes were dry and also luke warm.
When I told the server that all our beans were cold and that my whole plate was room temperature, his response was "I wish you had told me earlier, then i could do something." I felt like he treated me like I was trying to get a free meal or something. I definitely did not feel like he cared at all - no concern, but defense.
I was very nice and told him to just let the cooks know please. I doubt he did.
Bad service all around.
I can not recommend this restaurant.
UPDATE: I am further disappointed at the Owner's response. To be CLEAR: My family arrived 40 minutes before close. We arrived at 8:20pm and the restaurant closed at 9pm. I asked, before we were seated, if it was still okay to be seated for dinner. I was told YES. Then I asked again "Are you sure?" and was told YES.
I do not go to restaurants right before close. I worked in restaurants for many years and am aware that some cooks start cleaning the grill an hour before close and get resentful if they have to use it again. Some places happily serve until close. So, my rule of thumb is that I won't go into a restaurant within 30 minutes of closing, and within an hour of closing I ask if it still okay to be seated. And I trust I will be told the truth.
What is disappointing are the excuses made by the owner, and the untruth told about our arrival time to back up the excuses.
Additionally, I did not want the waiter to take my food back to be remade or reheated and here is why: in some restaurants (and since our food was room temperature the red flags were up for me already), the cooks get angry and will do things to your food. I don't know who is in that kitchen, but they were already willing to send out subpar food, so I don't trust asking for anything from the kitchen. I'm not saying these cooks would do anything like that, but I'm not going to ignore my experience in the industry either.
Also, note in the Owner's response how he says that "at the end of the day things like this happen." This says that this Owner believes that if you come in 40 minutes before close, you don't deserve hot food or good service. It's a top down way of running this business. If you aren't willing to provide good food and service after 8pm, then stop seating an hour before close.
There seems to be a culture of non-accountability from the top down here. And a bad experience is the customer's fault. Hope it changes and lessons are learned.

Placed a take out order to pick up at 6. The order confirmation said to prompt picking up our food for food safety purposes. We were on time. The food was cold and horrible

Guess they need to change the hours on here as I show up at 8:10 pm Wednesday January 8th and they say they are closing and I can't order food. Looks like another Woodland Park Restaurant that will be going out of Business.
Your response is a lie as your server did not say that and there really is no reason to stay when I came in for food and I was told I couldn't order any. I definitely won't be back.

We went for lunch. Very attentive service! We got the country fried steak and it was really delicious! We were in a rush so we ate quickly so didn’t have a full experience, but what we did get was good!

Red flags all the way. The first red flag was the filthy sidewalk next to the kitchen exterior door, on the way to the entrance. The 2nd red flag was both entry doors had their handles broken. The 3rd red flag was the hostess trying to explain to the new employee that was nervous about how to seat someone. The 4th red flag, the largest was their outrageous $17 hamburger prices. The two of us would had to pay $45 by the time we left. We went to McDonalds and had a good time.
Salad seemed like it was prepped a day or 2 prior. Cut edges were browning.

Food is not that good for the price
We ordered the burgers and were very disappointed. The meat was either very old or was very cheap. None of the burgers were cooked properly. We will not be going back!

Food is always great. Nice blend of south western and american food. Burgers, burritos ate the name here. The veggie burrito is huge and delicious.
Vegetarian options: They will accommodate most pallets as long as you ask but most aren't specifically labeled. Burgers or burritos without cheese or sour cream is a simple solution for many.

Great food on a take out order and good service. We got the judges burger, two cheeseburgers, and a crispy chicken salad. The judges burger was a little sloppy, but everything had good flavor and we got everything we ordered.

Stopped here on a recommendation on a Saturday afternoon. There’s a bar on one side and restaurant on the other. First thing I notice is there are a few TVs scattered around and not one of them has a college football game on. Two have a replay nuggets game, one has a replay padres / dodgers game on and one has PBS. I asked our waiter and he turned the one I was looking at to a game but come on…. Food was ok. I got enchiladas which were good. Wife got a burger which was over done and the bun was really thick. Fries were really good. Server was excellent. If you have a bar / restaurant with TVs, you have some awareness of what’s going on.
