Over the past thirty-five years we have made over twenty trips to Italy, sometimes staying as long as eight weeks. We have eaten the cuisine there from Siciy to Mount Blanc and Venice and taken cooking classes throughout.So it is from experience that we say Mountainara has mastered true Italian cuisine. We have eaten there several times and, without question, their food is meets the culinary standards of any in Italy. Woodland Park has a treasure!. Bravo and buon appetito!!

Multiple excellent vegan options in a dedicated plant based section on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Quite possibly the best Italian restaurant I've been to, ever. The service was wonderful, the Huckleberry Lemonade oh sooo good. The Piccata Milanese was amazing. Shared a tiramisu and lemon cake with mascarpone with my fiance and we both loved both. Can't say enough about this tiny hole in the wall. We'll be going back to confirm more than one main dish is this good. Then again and again likely.

Yum. The food was fresh and prepared on site. We all chose not to drink alcohol however there was a great selection of specialty cocktails.

Vegan Review!
My son and I dined at this restaurant for lunch today. As a vegan mother with a picky omnivore child, it can be a bit difficult to find a restaurant that meets both our wants/needs. Not only did this restaurant have various vegan options, but our server was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for my dietary needs!
Everything we ordered was incredible! I had two vegan entrees (chicken Parmesan and Lunch Special Pesto Pasta), sorbet, and vegan chocolate torte. Everything was delicious!!! My son tried my vegan chicken parm and not only loved it, but couldn’t even tell it was plant-based protein!
Love to see a restaurant that uses Meati products!
Would highly recommend to any vegan or non vegan looking to enjoy a great meal in Woodland Park!

We celebrated our dear father’s 100th birthday at Mountainara! The food, the staff, the service - all were top notch! We sincerely thank Mountainara for going above and beyond in making delicious meals (for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores), and in creating such a warm and welcoming environment for our once-in-a-lifetime celebration! Highly recommend Mountainara for its food, its staff, and its service.

Had them cater a birthday dinner recently. Kirsten was so responsive and helpful. She helped guide our choices and answered so many questions. The food was prepared perfectly and packaged neatly for pickup. Everything we chose was delicious. Highlights were the piccata Milanese and the Florentine NY Strip. We were hesitant about "take out steak" but it was perfect! Highly recommend! Thanks for a great meal.

Been wanting to eat here, but every time we go it’s closed or says “only reservation after 4:45”. Try to eat local as much as possible, but if you’re not open/available ?‍♀️Just going to skip ever trying to eat here. Good luck!
