Honestly, I'm giving five stars based on service alone. We were in town and looking for a bite to eat. Nothing on the main drag was calling our names, but I saw this place on Google Maps, and it looked promising. It's one of those barbecue places that does things cafeteria style (you pick out your food at the counter and grab a seat). The selection was fairly typical, but most of us were intrigued by the macaroni and cheese options. The staff were incredibly friendly the entire time we were fumbling through our order. The food was good, now I've had a lot of barbecue in my years, so I can't say it's the best, but it was still darn good eating. I did appreciate the creativity with the Mac and cheese, though. I'd definitely come by again.

We tried Roy’s for the first time for lunch…and it was AMAZING! The amount of delicious food for the price is unheard of anywhere else. We went a few day later for breakfast. WOW! It was delicious, and the portions were more than we could eat. The service was awesome; the workers were respectful and kind, and answered any questions we had. We were asked after receiving our food if everything was good, and at lunch we were even offered different brisket if we wanted, since we ordered extra lean. We declined….it was absolutely some of the best bbq we’ve ever had. We will definitely return often!
Tried Roy’s while driving through town, it did not disappoint. Ribs were top notch, brisket sandwiches and onion rings a must try. We were with a group of six, and everyone got different meals and were all thumbs up!!Owner were super friendly and hospitable!It’s a hidden gem in a small mountain town!Will definitely stop by again.Thank you and keep up the great food and service!!!

By far one of my favorite restaurants in Woodland Park! I can't get enough of the smoked sausage and creamed corn! Be sure to save room for dessert or take some home with you! I never leave disappointed. Sometimes we even order for pick up and we are always impressed with how quickly they get our order ready and it's always hot and fresh!

Great BBQ-portions-etc. If you leave here hungry or without a take home box it's your fault!! Woodland Park has been a restaurant wasteland for sooo long. Chain food-meh.Too pricey, poor quality, small portions. Roy is working to fix that!!
