I have a pretty severe wheat allergy and decided to risk it and try the enchiladas since they are gluten free. I mentioned i had an allergy and the enchiladas were delicious and they were safe and caused me no reaction. I was super happy to find a place here that I can eat as its my favorite place to vacation and the only place I could find around in town with gluten free options listed plainly on their web page. The waitress was so kind and amazing, especially with my picky kiddos. Can't wait to go back, haven't had good Mexican food in awhile and was so happy to find this little restaurant
Best Mexican food I ever had! So happy we stopped here. Don't past this food up!
Informed server we would like to order our meals to go. Planned on hanging out for drinks. Sat for ten minutes before server got to us. With three small tables at the time. Never served chips and salsa. Not very impressed. No chips no tip.
Food tasted off, like maybe spoiled. Ordered the chicken tamale and chicken enchiladas. The waitress was nice but her child was hanging on to her apron as she served so that was awkward. Would not go back
The place was so dark. The food tasted bad; rancid and like soy sauce, not Mexican. We left most of it. The waitress was nice. $100 down the drain.
Really good food
Love the food and the sangria!
Really good local comida de Mexico. Support local! Fried Snapper is awesome!

Best Mexican food in Colorado. Hands. Down. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before now. I’ve been coming here for years! I’ve watched Pepe pivot from one location to a food truck, surviving COVID when others didn’t, and now to this location they’ve been in for a couple years. You know why? Because the food and service is THAT good that the loyal following will continue to seek this place out. There’s nothing bad on this menu, but you can’t go wrong with the street tacos, mole, or my favorite - the seafood chimichanga.

Food poisoning, twice, and a surly manager. I went here once a few months ago, and got violently ill after having the enchiladas. I swore I'd avoid it, but a friend wanted to meet there, and so I figured I'd roll the dice. I avoided the enchiladas, opting for a fajita. While I didn't get quite as sick, it was still an unpleasant experience. I'm not sure if they undercook their meat or cross contaminate in the kitchen, but it seems there's something amiss.
I spoke with the relatively young woman who was there on a different night, mostly to warn her about the problem. She said she was the manager, but I'm guessing she's a relative of the owner, because she showed very little actual acumen. When I attempted to politely explain the situation, mostly to warn her about potential issues, she exploded at me. I was literally trying to help as kindly as I could that it seems there was a health code risk and she erupted, saying I was spreading rumors and wasn't welcome there anymore. As if I planned on having my guts mauled for a third time!
I have no clue what is wrong with either the conditions or the hiring practices of this restaurant, but either way it's good to avoid.
