This was probably the best barbecue brisket sandwich I ever had. I got the Admiral and it was juicy and tender and flavorful. The walls of this place are lined with smoke competition victories. Go and feast!

This place has been a wonderful addition to the restaurant selections in the Wray area. The BBQ is amazing. The owners and staff are great people. 10/10 would recommend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Cheers!

Great place with a wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food. Bison queso is a great way to start with a blackberry whiskey sour. We then had the sandwich the general with fries and potato salad. Everything was fantastic as always!!

The good: Their sauces were pretty tasty.

The bad: Our waitress didn’t seem to know much about the menu. Half of their food was unavailable due to poor stocking or appliance malfunction. One item we ordered never came to the table, and another item was wrong and had to be sent back. The sandwiches and fries were reheated poorly so half of the dish was cold. One of our sides seemed suspiciously like repurposed leftovers from the previous day (it was pasta - you can tell.) The portions were tiny, and the prices were big. Our drinks were not kept full, even though the restaurant was not busy.

The ugly: We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it came out with pork on top and turkey on the bottom. Just weird, so weird.

The verdict: I don’t think the owners are very serious about running a restaurant - seems like they are people who like to backyard bbq and decided to try and make some money off of it. Nothing about our experience recommended a return visit, and I can’t say I think people should give this a try.

Stopped in today and grabbed a Breakfast burrito and it was great ! Large stuffed tortilla great flavor and the green chili on the side just set it off. If you are looking for a quick breakfast in Wray Colorado this is the spot.

Coming in, the atmosphere was amazing. I love what they did to the brand! Super unique and seemed promising! Before I have any constructive critisism, the Barbaque sauce was absolutely amazing, the potato salad was homemade, different but good! I’d love to have the recipe! And the spicy pickle fries were 10/10 along with the sauce, spectacular. Buttt I was genuinely disappointed eating here. The Mac n cheese was dry and flavorless, the brisket was dry and flavorless and the chili I had… it had no taste and it was cold. I understand being understaffed and having to work 3 times as hard to serve anyone but take your time, do it right. If they had someone invest in this business, it could seriously thrive! This is a beautiful business idea along with their brand. It just needs a little help

Was clean. Brisket was dry, gave me the wrong food even though wasn’t many people in there. If you don’t want to spend a bunch of money on half ass food don’t go.

I drive from Brighton to eat here...that should tell you everything you need to know. Not only are the owners wonderful people who care about their community and the people they serve, they make EXCELLENT food on top of it. The brisket and ribs are my favorite and I always take a lot home with me to tie me over between visits. The White Lightening sauce might be the best thing on the planet. I found them initially when they catered a wedding I attended and have been hooked ever since!
