This is my favorite BBQ place! I wait all year long just to come here during deer season. The food is incredible, especially the bbq beans and the pulled pork. I love the atmosphere and the folks who run it are so cheerful and you can tell this is a labor of love.

The service was horrible, the food was horrible, the sweet tea wasn’t good. It was not worth the $73 that I spent for my wife, son and I to eat there. I recommend driving to steamboat for McDonald’s or Taco Bell you will be more pleased.

We stopped in for some barbecue and were completely blown away. The food was incredible—perfectly smoked meats, rich flavors, and sides that hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and full of that authentic BBQ goodness.
What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the service. Our server went above and beyond—super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find someone who cares that much about making sure your experience is perfect.
From start to finish, it was hands-down one of the best barbecue meals we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back—and recommending it to everyone we know.

Marlene and her husband went above and beyond. We just finished a grueling but very satisfying weekend at fish and cross ranch. I called Marlene to check if they had any food left for about 15-20 guys. She closed the restaurant just for us as there was just enough food left for our group. We grabbed a cake from the grocery store next door for a guys bday and they even warmed it up in their oven. Truly above and beyond service.
