It was just too dark in the seating that they gave us. I asked if they could turn up the lighting but they were unable to. Also, they put us right near the door on the coldest night when there were many other tables available. The food was excellent!!
Nicest owners ever. They go out of their way to accommodate. Nice clean restaurant in downtown Ansonia.

I just wanted to
Give a compliment to this food. I recently moved into the area and was told about this place. I ordered a burger from there but I wasn’t very hungry so I saved it. 3 days later this burger still has tons of flavor and cooked perfectly! The flavor and spice is off the charts. Definitely can’t wait to order another burger from here soon!

Uptown Antonia delivers an exceptional dining experience. The Bang Bang Shrimp was perfectly crisp with a flavorful sauce that struck the right balance of heat and sweetness. The New York Strip with Peppercorn Dipping Sauce was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and rich with flavor. The Fiery Angus Burger was equally outstanding, packed with bold spice and perfectly balanced.
Our server, Kayla, was outstanding — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure every detail was flawless from start to finish.
Every dish was spot-on, and the service elevated the entire experience. Five stars — an immaculate meal all around.

Excellent food and great staff... great neighborhood place that is also a worthwhile drive.
It was a great restaurant once. Now it took 40 minutes to get the appetizers. It was cold on arrival and the other one had no taste. The staff is very pleasant. Probably will not go back
Best bar in Ansonia!

Wife & I ordered shared plates
Poached Pear... presented sitting in a bowl of port wine reduction & honey marscapone cheese. Way too sweet. Would be better as a sliced grilled pear with port wine reduction drizzled over the top
Street Corn Dip... more like street corn soup. Too watery and couldn't keep any on the tortilla chips
Tuna on sticky crispy rice.... crispy rice should be thin, not thicker than a rice crispy treat. All that rice takes away from the tuna.
Fig Flatbread.... undercooked & need a good flatbread
Deviled eggs.... we got the dill pickle & really didn't have much taste & whipped yokes were runny
Drinks.... I ordered a Markers Old Fashion & got a Manhattan, wife ordered a Jack & Coke, tasted like they added simple syrup.
Maybe it was an off night.

Wife & I stopped in to try this place, as we are local. We decided to order apps & share. Street Corn was like watery soup & no flavor. Since it was like water couldn't get any of it to stay on tortilla chip Poached Pear was sitting in a pool of port wine reduction. If you like a bowl of flavored sugar, then go for it. Would be better if they sliced a pear, grilled it & then drizzled the port wine reduction over it. Tuna on crispy sticky rice would have been edible if the crispy sticky rice wasn't over an inch thick. Looked like a rice crispy treat Fig flatbread was under-cooked and could use a better quality flatbread Deviled eggs were bland & runny. Needless to say we did really touch the food I ordered a Markers Old Fashion & got a Manhattan & my wife ordered a Jack & Coke and it tasted like they added simple syrup to it. Very disappointing to pay $100. Service was there meaning our order was taken.
Such a cutie brunch spot! The vibe, decor and atmosphere were on point and chill! Not to mention their bathrooms are selfie worthy! There was an eclectic brunch menu with lots of options! Live music a few days a week as well! Will definitely be going back!

I enjoyed the restaurant very much. My only complaint would be that I asked for a Bellini and got a Mimosa.
Classy and casual bar/restaurant. Excellent food leaning modern Latin. Great drink menu. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Worth the trip!
