We ordered takeout online from Koi tonight for the first time. The food was ready in less than 20 minutes and it was amazing. We especially loved the Sweet Potato roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll.

My Japanese husband and I live in Ansonia and we really were hoping for a place not too far away to get good Japanese food. Unfortunately, this is not too authentic or special. My husband says the chef or owner is not Japanese, which he could tell from the rice. Typically, most of these restaurants are owned by Koreans or Chinese, and they season (or in this case, DON'T season the sushi rice) differently. It was bland and too cold.
