I come whenever I'm in the neighborhood for a dinner which reminds me of the Polish food I enjoyed when I was younger. This restaurant is always authentic and worth the trip.

The owner/chef, Mike came out and greeted us & to answer any questions we had about the dishes before we ordered. Each dish we ordered was better than the next. The food was outstanding! Can't wait to go back again!

I understand business is now for sale. Food could be good and tasty but served cold (golabki ziemniaki) ?? sorry no explanation for it. Restaurant sb ready at 12 and it’s like we surprised owner getting there for lunch at 12.15. Hope next owner will be more serious about the food quality.

So authentic. From the food to the owner. Everything here is incredible. Talk to Mike and ask him about his cat. Pierogis are legit and wash down beautifully with some zywiec and zubrowka after.

Went here for dinner last night and it blew all my expectations out of the water! First, the chef/owner introduced himself to us and showed us around the restaurant and explained how everything is made fresh! The decor was very European and it was adorable! We got the polish platter which was enough for two people easy! Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for delicious polish food!

Love this very elegant and cozy Polish restaurant. All of the food is delicious. Nice decor. Felt like I was in Poland. Friendly atmosphere. Very good and nice people. Excellent service and prices. The potato pancakes are THE BEST. Better than my grandparents cooking. The Polish platter has a sample of everything and is a must try. The stuffed cabbage is outstanding. The apple and cheese cake desserts with raspberry tea is just the right touch to finish a rich meal. The nice

Warszawa is an authentic hidden gem in downtown Ansonia. When you walk in, you can see the craftsmanship in the restaurant and the hard work that the owner has put in to keep it clean and cozy. Mike, the chef and owner, greeted us and was one of the most pleasant owners I have ever met. He genuinely loves his business and is so enthusiastic about his authentic polish cuisine. He was so nice, I would go back just to see him! We started off with some coffee and it was honestly some of the best coffee I've ever had. We asked the waitress and she said it was from Germany. That coffee alone was 2 thumbs up. I ordered potato and cheese pierogi with onion on top. The pierogi was PACKED with flavor and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back and just eat 5 orders of pierogis. My mom got the veal osso bucco, which fell off the bone and was extraordinary. My husband got the stuffed cabbage and was equally as amazing as everything else. Warszawa has authentic, homemade Polish delicacies and it truly an epic hidden gem. I would encourage everyone to try it if you are in the mood for some pierogis!! We will definitely be back. A+ experience.

Best place around for authentic polish food. Great staff. Been here more times then I can count and the food and service are consistent.I ate polish food everyday back in Poland and here in the states cooked by my late mom. So believe me when I say it's the best around.
