I’ve been to this location several times and usually have a good experience. It’s my girlfriend and I’s “spot” and I have had great memories here. I noted my dairy allergy and ordered Yum Yum sauce. The woman was kind and even gave me an extra. I didn’t get the Holiday Roll since it had dairy, which I appreciated.
However, after finishing my food, I started to feel unwell in a way that was immediately familiar to me. I called the restaurant to double-check the ingredients in the Yum Yum sauce. I was told it didn’t contain milk, but when I asked about butter, I was informed that it does include butter, and that “butter doesn’t have dairy.” Unfortunately, butter is a dairy product, as it’s made by churning cream derived from milk.
As someone with a dairy allergy, this misinformation made me very sick. I’m extremely disappointed, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Had the most amazing dinner tonight. We got the Kani Salad, Crab Rangoon, Crisp Rice, salmon sushi and sashimi, a special roll, and green tea mochi. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully plated. The staff were also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Will not be my last time visiting!

this has quickly become my favorite sushi spot in the area. the team is SO friendly, the presentation is always amazing, and the food is soooo good. their crispy rice with spicy tuna is my new favorite food, ever. you can tell the team here puts a lot of pride into their incredible menu. this is my go-to spot to take friends and family out to eat. thank you for another great dinner!
Love their specialty rolls! And their tempura is great as well. Eat there at least once a week when I am in the area.

WOW. I rarely if ever review places but felt it was necessary after such an amazing experience. Food and service is exceptional! The crispy rice with tuna pictured below is unreal and so hard to find in this part of CT. Definitely my new go to sushi spot. Could not recommend more

The sushi tasted and looked phenomenal and the deep fried sushi had the perfect crisp to it and was the best I’ve ever tasted all around ct so far ! Again I was impressed with the display of sushi on the large slate plate with a little light on it. The hibachi dishes are well put together, had a lot of food on it and tasted amazing! Every thing was great complements to the cheifs! Deff will go there again!!!!!
