We went earlier this week. It was my first time there and WE WILL BE COMING BACK!!! The food was amazing and the staff was excellent! The newer manager is on his game and has amazing plans for the place! It's already great but I can't wait to see it develop!

Me and my mom went for a late lunch/early dinner today after a doctor's appointment. I can't say enough about this establishment! The food was absolutely delicious!! The vegetable samosas were by far the best I've ever had. The outside was nice and crunchy and the inside was so light and fluffy and it had the perfect amount of saltiness to make you want more! My mom is vegan and they made sure that she had exactly what she wanted and it was vegan. I had chicken tikka masala which was absolutely delicious. The garlic naan was also fabulous. The manager, Lincoln came out and talked to us and was so very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this restaurant. They are more then happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Just couldn't be happier! Will definitely be back!! P.s. We live in West Haven, happened to be in the area, but I would drive back up to eat here again. Even just for another samosa!!

I can’t say enough good things about Himalaya Restaurant! The owner was absolutely wonderful so kind, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. It felt like he genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience. The food was amazing the chicken tikka masala was full of flavor and perfectly cooked, the garlic naan was soft and delicious, and the mango lassi was out of this world seriously the best I’ve ever had. This place doesn’t just serve great food, it makes you feel at home. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

We loved it! We ate here a couple years ago and it was good, but nothing special. We gave it another try and had a great experience. Himalaya restaurant is now under new management and it shows both in the quality of food and service. The new owner Lincoln Everest was there, asked us questions about our taste, what we liked and provided meal suggestions. We were pleasantly surprised. The paneer chili, garlic naan, mixed vegetable and chicken tikka masala were delicious. We are definitely going back and look forward to the ongoing changes and health focus Lincoln spoke about.

Honestly some of the best tasting Indian food I have had. The chicken tikki masala was off the charts. The Himalaya Naan was awesome. The mango lasse was amazing. Great price as well. Recommend and will be coming back.

Order butter chicken and garlic nanna the food was bad, the nanna was burned on both side, rice under cook and the chicken wasn't chicken very fatty.. request a refund still haven't heard back from the restaurant or uber eat received 2 dollars refund for a $35 dollar order.
I would not recommend food from from this restaurant because it was really bad with a weird smell..

Extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant's management. I was double charged for a half-tray of biryani--once when I placed the order and again when my friend picked it up. Instead of promptly addressing the mistake, the owner made the reimbursement process unnecessarily difficult, dragging it out for three months. He repeatedly demanded that both of us be present, requested bank statements, IDs, and even insisted on paper statements mailed from the bank--completely disregarding the fact that we live in a paperless world in 2025.
What’s worse, there was no courtesy or remorse from the owner for the mistake made by his staff. A responsible business takes accountability and values its customers, something this place clearly lacks. There are plenty of great restaurants like Aga’s and Karachi Restaurant that not only serve excellent food but also prioritize customer service. I would strongly recommend choosing them over this place if you value a hassle-free experience and respect as a customer
