It's really not a bad place I go to buffets often this one is just unreasonably expensive for what they offer the food is usually good the sushi is decent but it shouldnt cost a days pay to feed 4 people 2 of which are under 10 the seafood variety isn't worth $30 theres closer cheaper same level places OH and bill's over $100 recieve a hefty gratuity fee I don't think I'll be going back

We arrived and immediately thought the place was closed with only three other car in the parking lot at 6pm. Four of us dined in having only three soda and one water, and three buffet . The food was limited and some was cold. The total bill was 157.59 so I left a 15.00 tip which is more than usual at buffets for me. I didn’t realize until we returned home that something was wrong. I called the restaurant and they stated a 15% service fee is added if bill is $85or more. This is robbery ! 29.95 for one person is also nuts! Pacific Buffet in Wallingford is so much better and cheaper. We will not be back and they probably will be out of business soon .

Please do not come here !!! Worst restaurant experience in my life. To summarize, we were yelled at by two servers and the front cashier who appeared to be a child because we were being charged for piña colada’s that tasted like soap. Do not come here expecting crab rangoons, they do not have any despite their website being littered with pictures of it. Everyone was just rude- we were being super respectful and kind and did not even ask for much.
We ordered Piña colada's and they tasted like soap, and were watered down. We were not gonna drink it, or pay for it so we told the waitress and they took it back so and ordered sprites instead. After getting the sprites we are told that we still have to pay for the Pina coladas because "we drank from them." The waitress slammed on our table cause she we made her get the pina coladas that they made very poorly and that we still had to pay for. So instead we said, make us another one, please. And the girl in the front proceeded to say "jesus christ get out of my face" after we explained the unfairness.
However; there is this one super nice waitress who attended my grandparents at the same time separately, we cannot remember her name but she had short hair and was African American, total sweetheart, and we gave her a good tip as well.
Of course I did not tip our waitress after being yelled at by two employees unhappy to do their job. Money is not an issue, we paid and made them do the extra work because there's no way you are gonna disrespect me and my family in public this way. Food is not that great. I got a wonton that tasted pretty foul. Some of the plates and silverware were dirty. Also, be aware that if your bill is over $85, they automatically charge you a MANDATORY “service fee” of 15%. So our bill came to $130 and the service fee was $20. Drink refills are NOT FREE - they charge you for each refill. We went on a Sunday evening and for 4 people, our bill came to $160… which is a joke. We asked management about the “service fee” and they didn’t care, said they can’t change it. Never again.

This used to be my favorite buffet because they had a lot of seafood options, but the last few times I’ve visited it seems like they’ve cut back on those. Still a great place with good variety. The service is also good for a buffet. Your old plate is gone before you get back with your new plate and they never let my drink go unfilled

Nothing good to say. Food was worst Chinese buffet I have been to and I travel for work and if ever somewhere on the coast will look for a Chinese buffet as most are wonderful. If I could give a negative star rating I would. Save yourself and don't eat here.
