Excellent food, although some menu items are pricey, the Tenders & Waffles combo is worth every pennyThe staff were very accomadating and friendly as well. Great service goes a long way!Definitely give this place a shot!

Went to the Southington location even though my mind told me to stick to what I know (the New Britain location). I ordered to go some chicken tenders, mac & cheese, 3 piece chicken combo with a waffle and fries. The waffle was soggy and wobbly like a wet sponge. The crust to the chicken tenders wasn't crispy at all. It was overly moist and was sliding of the chicken meat.The mac & cheese was sour. As soon as I opened the container I could smell the foul odor. I don't understand why the cook couldn't distinguish this. I had to call the store and tell them not to sell it or someone would definitely get sick. The atmosphere is nice as well as the service but the food was trash. Next time. I'm sticking to what I know.

Awful place! We ordered online for take out and when we showed up to pickup the order the restaurant was closed. This was at 7pm when they’re supposed to be open till 10.I was charged over $80 for food we never received. When trying to call the next day for a refund the staff was rude, not helpful and wouldn’t let us speak with a manager. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant.

I hate doing this but I ordered simple chicken tenders and when I got home had to cook them in oven for 25 mins more, just wasn’t a good experience and the place was suspect. How do you mess up tenders that go in a fryer ??♂️

Rooster’s is serving up some delicious fried chicken! The chicken was juicy, and the coating was crispy and flavorful without being too greasy. Their soft, liege-style waffle made a great pairing with the tenders. Other items that stood out to us were the biscuit, insane royal waffle sandwich, and homemade pikliz! They have plenty of seating to dine-in and offer online ordering and takeout.

The wings are amazing. They are big and juicy. The wings are cooked when ordered. So they are hot.We had sauce on the side. Very good sauce selections. A bit extra for multi flavor orders, but it is worth it.The staff / owner is courteous and friendly.The restaurant is clean. Would recommend ordering on line or calling. This can cut down on the wait. I'm excited for a franchise to open in the Manchester and Hartford areas. I'm recommending this as a very good place for chicken.

if you live in the plainville area and haven't come here yet, you may as well go join a circus ?. Absolutely delicious, fresh and hot, good prices. All staff were super helpful and friendly! Get yourself in here ASAP.

The food is absolutely delicious!! The chicken was very juicy and tender inside and crispy on the outside. Perfect!The Rooster sauce was spicier than expected, but still good. Honey ginger sauce and BBQ were smooth and delicious also.Waffles were nice and dense, but could use more flavor. I would still order it again paired with the chicken.Mac and cheese side was also good. Tasted amazing when paired with the BBQ sauce.The serving sizes are great! Definitely get what you pay for. Will be returning, so glad to have something different in town!!

Atmosphere is horrible. I really have to remember to read the reviews before I go to a new place. The waffle was not very good. Service took too long. But the chicken was OK. But not great. Unfortunately this place will probably not be here long. But on the bright side maybe they'll get a better place here.

This place was really hot inside no A/C, it was very run down & disgusting. The food was the worst I have ever tasted I still can’t get the raunchy flavor out of my mouth! Never again!!

the first sign that should have made turn around and walk out was the flies stuck to the window, the food took for ever to come out, I have never has such bad coleslaw and if those were biscuits I have no idea what they were made of. I will definitely never go there again.

This is the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Nothing that we have tried hasn't been delicious. Lou the owner is such a nice guy too!!

Everything was really good. The waffle is so delicious and has this little sugar crunch to it. The chicken was moist and flavorful.
