We picked up takeout from Square Peg pizza for dinner. A friend that told us about it. It was definitely Neapolitan style of pizza and absolutely delicious! We ended up getting the margarita pizza and adding caramelized onions to the pepperoni pizza, which was an amazing move. They are located inside the Truck Bar which we also have never been into. Such a cool place with indoor cornhole, a game room, and a bar. The guy who was working on the counter mentioned that they also have live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. We will be back!
I don’t know about any of the other locations around CT, but the one in Berlin has a cook named Louis aka Louie. The man can make a mean pizza and is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. You can guarantee if he’s behind the counter you’ll not only enjoy the food but you’ll enjoy the experience as well.

First off the pizza is good. But the cool old time nostalgia coupled with gaming and other such activities make it a fun unique attraction. They even have room to get discovered and handle the flow of folks. Big stage, room for dancing plus it's located right off the highway. Highly recommend wether a family pizza night or a private party or date night. Place is cool as a pool..

For the amount of money paid for this pizza. I expected something really good. Pizza was burned which is expected with coal fire, but holy cow was this extra crispy with a burn taste throughout the slice. Definitely not worth its price at all. There are too many pizza places that make a much better slice for the price or below the price. When you’ve been drinking, everything tastes good, this didn’t, but hunger needs to be satisfied. I don’t know what people are talking about saying this pizza is good. Go find better pizza. It’s out there I promise.

UPDATE 9/18. The response from the “owner” says they spoke with me over the phone. I have NEVER called or spoken to anyone with the exception of The Berlin Fair personal Debbie, to express my concerns about the pricing and who called me back after she spoke to the rental department in regards to holding this business accountable for price gauging and not giving proper change at the fair. This business must’ve spoken to many other people that called to complain so I’m very confused as to the response on this review.Shame on you guys! Illegal and poor business practices. They had a food truck set up at the Berlin Fair and they ripped off all the customers with “tax” and not giving change! We are Berlin residents and they are based in Berlin and had the nerve to “round up” and rip people off! They are set up near kids area so I can only imagine how many kids they ripped off at the fair. Don’t take only my word see FB and the ton of comments from other Berlin residents about ripping people off. The Fair received numerous complaints so they “adjusted” their prices most likely in their favor screwing people over AGAIN! Stay away and enjoy the other food areas that are NOT ripping residents and people off.

Don't waste your money here.1. No signs or mention that this place is actually within Truck Bar. Tried calling 3 times trying to ask where it was. Was put on hold for 10 minutes, hung up on, and then on hold again. Eventually figured it had to be in the Truck Bar. At least add a note on your website or pick up your phone, sheesh.2. Someone else said this, but the large is truly not a large. Pizza is 2/3 of the box and way more expensive than other pizza places nearby. $30 for a medium pizza? Ridiculous.3. After explaining to them the issue finding their location, they didn't even offer to heat up the pizza which was cold af. Awful experience all around.

The pizza shop is inside the Truck Bar. The setup is nice. Ordered 2 pie’s over the phone and they were ready really fast. Luis was running the oven and counter. He was very nice and seemed to enjoy his job. Made a couple of great pie’s. And he took the time to tell me about the bar area and was very informative. We live in Glastonbury and pickup from Square Peg there also which Luis happens to work there as well. Give it a try if you’re in Berlin. Looks like a fun place and I know the pizza is good.
Got to see a high school friend and son. Looking forward to returning to this place......its called (The Truck Bar)

A little crowded on Saturday nights, but still able to get a table without a wait. Sit by the patio if you want a quieter experience. There's tables right by the cornhole boards that are rowdier. Pizza was great for CT pizza.
