Stopped in for breakfast. I have heard of the diner. As I walked in the inside of the diner it had the retro look of a silver metal diner out of the 40s and 50s. Its definitely a local restaurant which usually means friendly atmosphere and good food. As I took a seat at the counter, an electric train passed by overhead and went around the upper half of the diner. D's had an extensive menu with great specials. I settled for just 2 eggs with home fries, toast, and kielbasa. I enjoyed the kielbasa which came our as two large blackened patties. Which I thought were very good. The waitress was friendly and the service was great. I look forward to visiting again to try other menu items.

Very good diner in the area. We usually call ahead to order for a group of 3-5 people. The food is always ready within 30 minutes and we've never had anything missing from the bag. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a diner in the area.

I'm always nervous ordering from somewhere I haven't ate before but especially when it comes to sausage because not every place cooks it thoroughly so sometimes I just won't order sausage at all even though that's what I reallyyyy want - real breakfast sausage fans know what I'm talking about haha!! The food was great, the place was pretty packed, and the servers were friendly. Will definitely be returning furthermore for my sausage fix. 😏😆😋👍

Didnt meet uncle d but met sunny d lol. Great dude. Came there after our wedding event. He was our server and food came out in timely manner fresh amd hot. Drinks were always full and smiles on our face. Great place. Next time I fly to CT definitely coming back for breakfast or lunch. Recommend coming in. Has a great 50's/ 60's style to it. Staff is friendly and the food is great 👍

I love Uncle Ds! Great positive vibes always. Fun place. Great food. Fun diner atmosphere. And was pleasantly surprised to find some live music there on a Saturday morning to go along with my French toast with fresh fruit. So good!
