Food was great, large portions. Service wonderful, attentive, pleasant to talk with server. Even though we were traveling through we felt like we were part of the 1950 diner experience.
Stopped in for breakfast. I have heard of the diner. As I walked in the inside of the diner it had the retro look of a silver metal diner out of the 40s and 50s. Its definitely a local restaurant which usually means friendly atmosphere and good food. As I took a seat at the counter, an electric train passed by overhead and went around the upper half of the diner. D's had an extensive menu with great specials. I settled for just 2 eggs with home fries, toast, and kielbasa....
Very good diner in the area. We usually call ahead to order for a group of 3-5 people. The food is always ready within 30 minutes and we've never had anything missing from the bag. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a diner in the area.
