Tapas is fresh and delicious! I really hope they don't leave Bloomfield - it would be a terrible loss!

Food was all right but not outstanding. Had a gyro that was beef and lamb. I was hoping for a more authentic Mediterranean meal but it was very Americanized which means the flavors were a bit bland. Because of this it would be a great place to take most children though!

I love the Greek salad at Tapas. I also buy the bottled dressing to add to my own salads.

Had mediterranean sale platter, kabob platter, and falafel wrap. Delicious. Dish was sizable to bring home left overs. ?

Run, don't walk away. Took my family there last night. Tab was $120. Food SUCKED. We've been fans forever, starting with their location in Elmwood. Always enjoyable... until now. Food was literally inedible. Is Freddy still there? Are you listening? Heard they are closing that location because the entire plaza will be a medical services location. Feels like they already have closed. Get it together or shut down. Ugh.

There is always a good time to be had at Tapas Bloomfield. The food is really good and the drinks are on point. Most of all, the staff is super friendly. I have always had the most pleasant experience at the Bloomfield Tapas.

This place is far from authentic. I'm not sure anything here is actually fresh. Seems frozen and warmed up to order. We are a middle eastern family so we are coming from an experienced pallet. I ordered classic chicken gyro. Portions are very small. The pita was nice and soft but again the chicken was definitely not fresh gyro meat. Frozen strips warmed up is what it is. I ordered a side Greek salad and the dressing tasted like old pureed black olives or something. The feta didn't have any taste to it. I took one bite and tossed it aside. My husband ordered the chicken gyro as well with a side of rice. The rice tastes like Spanish rice from an uncle Ben's box or a zatarans box. It wasn't Greek rice at all. Such a confusing meal we had. The portions are small, the food isn't authentic, and they are over charging for it. Never again.

Definitely nothing fabulous. Server was friendly but needed reminders of our orders; wait was SOMEWHAT on the longer side.

Had some work related training in town. Yelp is always the go to place to look for what's good. I found this based on reviews. I ordered the chicken Shawarma, it was good, no complaints.

Love this place. Only negative thing that I have to say is that I wish they were still in West Hartford. Best salad dressing anywhere.

If you've got a hankering for a gyro, you have to try Tapas. I used to go years ago then moved away, but now that I'm back in the area again, I'm thrilled to be able to go regularly. The gyros are great, as are their flatbreads and the muffaletta. Surprisingly, their Madd Greek wings are some of my favorite wings in the area. One of the real stars is their Greek dressing. Made in house and sold to go, it's DELICIOUS. Also, their salad portions are insane, it's great. They do a Sunday morning jazz brunch I will definitely be checking out soon as well!
