Ordered food on doordash and it was fresh and delicious. Idk what happened a couple years ago for the bad reviews but as of 2026 this place is a 10/10 TO DIE FOR! Get it now!!

Worst customer service ever
I try to support my ppl, but today was the last straw. Everyone’s money spends the same and the customer service or lack of is trash. If I’m placing my order I don’t expect someone to walk in and place their order because they may be a regular…..also she left right out while I’m still waiting for my order which was the same thing. The woman in the back has no customer service skills. I’ll be saving my $35 and cooking my own food!

I was told that they don’t take KeyBank because a lot of customers returning payments. I was told to go to an ATM and pull out cash. Don’t take electronic payment if you fear People was going to return the payment. The sides was OK but the fish stink and it was overcooked like they use old oil. so I wonder why people do return their payment. the attitude from whoever was cooking the food in the back Was evident she didn’t want my business. She rolled her eyes at me and got mad At the girl in the front for allowing me to use my Apple Pay card. This was my first and last time coming in there. I was trying to support local businesses but I definitely will take that drive to mass next time for soul food cause ct soul food not that good.

The girl who takes the orders need to either not go to work if she gone have an attitude or change it your dealing with customers. Period. You picked that job, not us.. so work. Be polite, kind, and respectful…. You’re a worker, not a boss. In that order def will be calling and reporting the unprofessionalism of the employees at this place.
