Love the Bistro and go quite often - but I'd love to make a suggestion -- I have a young daughter and we go there for dinner with her, but I'd love if you had a Kids menu night....Pizza night, Taco Tuesday, something to bring other families in there so we have a place to go to 1x week or 1x a month so the kids have a place too....and can run into their little friends....it would be more communal. All other nights, great for us adults to gather to have an app, dinner and a glass of wine!! Thank you!

This establishment is a staple of the town of Bridgewater and for good reason. Aside from the historical significance of the building itself, the food is always delicious, pricing fair, staff genuinely friendly, and atmosphere welcoming. We always feel like we are visiting family when we are here.During warmer weather, there are several tables out front for a nice view of the Town’s main thoroughfare. They stock a generous variety of the mouthwatering Bridgewater Chocolates (of course!), and their store has some light food, treats, and odds & ends. There is also an area with home goods and gifts - all really nice quality.I highly recommend Bridgewater Village Store & Bistro for a tasty meal, or as a spot to stock up on some food and drinks for a road trip or drive around town.

Best onion rings I've EVER had... and I'm NOT into onion rings. Wow wow wow. One ring came out in the shape of a "D" and lemme tell ya.. they were DAMN good! Also Tracey is the best server ever. She makes a delicious cocktail and is the sweetest and so attentive. We love this place. P.S. The Salmon and half roasted chicken was delicious as well.

Excellent little cafe/bistro in Bridgewater. Very clean and well decorated inside with a small store and great chocolates. Food was excellent and the soup was incredibly good. Highly recommend this place

Great food and atmosphere...both indoors and outdoors.

This place is really a hidden gem. The Monte Cristo I was told was the best he had ever had. The chicken and waffles are by most the best I have ever had, and nothing like homemade maple syrup to go on top. The grilled cheese, I was told, was out of this world with 5 different cheeses, tomato, and bacon. Don't forget to grab some yummy treats on your way out. I know I did ?

Country feel coffee shop offering baked goods, breakfast/lunch menu, and decadent chocolates. Conveniently located next door to the town post office. A nice place to meet with friends.

Very nice place. Atmosphere is comfortable and casual. Loved the food. Had a wonderful tabouli salad with hummus as an appetizer and it was fantastic. Fresh and delicious, The flatbread was baked up after we ordered it. Server was very friendly and made a better drink than I have had at some cocktail bars. Well worth an excursion up to Bridgewater!

Beautiful place lovingly restored by the thoughtful proprietor. Nice lunch spot and good treats. In the former last "dry" town in CT...a full bar! Having acocktail, beer or wine with eats at the outdoor seating during the season is wonderful in this quaint and historic locality. I ain't no owner either. Just a local, proud to have this gem of a hangout in our little town.

$24 dollars for the spaghetti pesto with added chicken. Honestly, biggest waste of money I have spent on a dinner that we never ate. The chicken had tons of hard points with also holding a beautiful rubbery texture which was enough to advise no one to ever order from here. Such a great location wasted with a place that charges a lot of money for low scaled food that I believe my 3 year old daughter could make better in her easy bake oven. All around onion rings awful texture. Pesto spaghetti zero flavor with rubbery chicken. I got the coconut cake and chocolate cake, which was old crumbling not fresh. Thank you for making me have to turn my grill on tonight and cook chicken for my family the right way. The cook may need to update his resume. As I believe no cook could produce such poor quality food with a business also creating high prices. Sorry if this is long winded but I really do not want anyone to make the same mistake as me.
