I am writing this review regarding the service me and my boyfriend encountered. We showed up at 9:30(we checked online and it says they close at 10:30) and the minute we get inside the hostess/waitress says to me and my boyfriend oh just so you know we close in 25 min?! Ok. We get seated and she's rushing us through everything. She keeps saying sorry for the rush yet people are at the bar and they aren't being rushed and taking there time. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert, was very pushy.(she was some blonde woman) gets even funnier. You're not rushing the people behind us only me and my mans. We were nothing but nice and respectful, and she was in such a rush yet she wasn't rushing anyone else.

The management is horrible at this restaurant 99 restaurant in Bristol, Connecticut. The food is not what it used to be. Steak is terrible now.

Went out to eat with my boyfriend. We waited at the front with no one there to start. The hostess appeared from outside with what seemed like an attitude and abruptly sat us without a smile or any kind of greeting other then asking how many people. The waitress “Bella” came over to take drink orders, beautiful personality and attitude was great. I ordered stuffed shrimp with rice pilaf and broccoli my boyfriend ordered steak. We got our food and the rice was hard and burnt and the broccoli was cold. The waitress asked if I wanted a new dish and I asked for new rice. That was burnt as well. Seemed like I received the bottom of the pot. Hurt my tooth at first bite of it and was disappointed. The waitress (Bella) corrected the order but will not be going back any time soon. The shrimp was ok. My boyfriend’s meal was good.

The Food was solid. The specials were different in an interesting way. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The prices were average sit down restaurant prices.
The only negative was the hostess acted like she hates her job. I understand we all have bad days but she was definitely not friendly. Not a bad place, not 5 stars though.

Very disappointed. It wasn't that busy tonight (Friday), just two of us for dinner. We called ahead for seating and there was only a 10 minute wait so when we arrived we were seated right away, no one was waiting. Our waitress came over and took our order. Another person brought our dinners to the table. I ordered the pot pie, the top was burned. We never heard from our waitress the entire time, not once. I had to go the front and ask someone to ask for the waitress to come and give us our bill. Not once were we asked how the food was, did we need anything, etc... i was needing a drink but never got the chance to ask for one. If I were the person to bring my pot pie to the table, I would have asked the customer if the top was cooked too much and if so, would you like another one. Seeing as we didn't have anyone come by, I discarded the top and let it be. Very disappointed in the service and the dinner. The other dinner was fine. Would have been nice to have been checked on but only one interaction which was to take our order and nothing the entire time.

I sat at the bar where an older blond woman was working and she was pretty much non existent the whole time. The burger I ordered which was supposed to be medium rare ended up being more like medium well. Only time she came back to me was to give me the check. Never asked if I wanted anything else and she took away the popcorn which I wasn’t done with. She’s in the wrong business. I would never go back to this location.

I order tonight a captain morgan and pepsi and when she serve me my drink it was Jack Daniel and Pepsi. When I said this is not captain it Jack Daniel she told me that the bartender ran out of captain morgan so they added Jack Daniel. Which is really wrong to do because captain morgan is a rum and Jack Daniel is a whiskey!! Not the same type of alcohol. So wrong to do to a person!
Great experience!!! Server Elisa was super friendly, food was yummy and reasonably priced and atmosphere was nice. Plenty of parking. Will be returning.

Joanne was the best. She was a whirlwind of productivity. From the bar I saw her running food, taking to go orders, and sitting people from the front door. Unless she's getting paid as much as the GM, it's not enough. I'll be coming back to 99 as long as she works here.

Seeing some of the reviews being up and down; especially when it came to the turkey dinner, I had to come in and try it for myself and give an honest review. Having my days mixed up, I forgot today is Friday so I called and because Wednesday was burger day, they still did the turkey special today.
When I called and spoke to Chrissy and someone else, they were very pleasant and when I got here, she was the host. Anna was my server/waitress. Excellent personality on her, friendly and came to check on me a few times to see if I needed anything else. Food - Portion was anything but small…5 slices of turkey a huge scoop of potatoes, a bowl of corn and a cup of cranberry sauce. Everything was hot and fresh, even as I let it sit for a few minutes to do a hot/cold taste test.,it stayed hot. Parking is plentiful..it’s in the corner of a strip mall with stop and shop. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean..I don’t know what some of these reviews are about. I look for small details and don’t even see a rolled up straw wrapper on the floor. Based on interactions with the staff, and the food..on a 1-5; I’ll give it a 4.8 and on a 1-10; a solid 8.5. I’ll definitely be coming back and urge others…base off your own experience or if you DO go off a Google review, make sure they have been to more than one place. They DO have daily specials that are in-store only, which is attached in photos.
My wife, Borus, and I recently visited a 99 Restaurant for the first time, looking for a bit of solace after the recent and distressing news about our mailman’s passing. He had tragically died of AIDS, contracted from an unfaithful boyfriend. We needed a distraction and some comfort, and this outing provided just that.
I ordered the steak dinner, which was cooked to perfection and immensely satisfying. Borus opted for a chicken wrap, which she found both flavorful and well-prepared. The quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere were just what we needed.
To further brighten our day, I had a strawberry fruit refresher. It was incredibly refreshing and gave us a much-needed boost.
An unexpected highlight for Borus was the restaurant’s bathroom facilities. The plumbing was in excellent condition, and she appreciated how well the toilets accommodated a variety of diets and body types It might seem like a minor detail, but it added to the overall positive experience.
Our visit to 99 Restaurant was a welcome escape and a reminder of how small pleasures can offer comfort during difficult times.

Our server Elizabeth walked away while we were asking about the menu. Had someone else bring us our food. Didn’t check up on us for our entire meal, we needed napkins, straws, and ketchup. Showed up only to give us a receipt and didn’t tell us that we had to pay on our phones we had to figure that out on our own. It wasn’t until another customer told us that she was being rascist when we realized she gave her white customers excellent service especially the table seated DIRECTLY BEHIND US. I don’t care what your personal beliefs are keep your feelings out of your job it’s 2024. This restaurant was amazing years ago not anymore. I will never suggest this place to another person again.
