Tuna Melt was good. Fried perfect. Fries were very good. Cole slaw tasted rancid (yuk!!!) Pickle was good, although, it got a few of my fries soggy. The Ketchup was a little low so splattered when I squeezed the container.

Decent place for breakfast. Staff is always please and has a good atmosphere. Tad bit dated in the decor, and the food is above average. We'll be back.

Never had eaten here before and while driving by we decided to stop in. The burgers are hand made on site and were phenomenal. The fries and slaw were a perfect side. Both had great flavors. Thank you to our waiter Mike! Will definitely visit again.

I my daughter and her father absolutely LOVVEEEEE this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Don't ask me where I want to eat, the answer will always be APPLEWOODS! The chicken tenders and their French fries are the absolute best along with multiple items on the menu of course. Let's just say I've tried a bunch of different food and well I've never had a bad experience. I've requested this place to people I know all the time. And I always end up with a thanks you and something along the lines of "Omg why haven't I tried there sooner" lol!! ☺️????? AGAIN HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WETHER YOU LIVE IN BRISTOL OR ARE JUST PASSING THROUGH TOWN.

Have been there twice for dinner. Didn't enjoy either meal. Service was super slow and the food was mediocre at best. The only way that I would return was to give their breakfast a chance. After all, how can you mess that up?

We do like this restaurant frequenting it often for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is mostly typical diner-style foods with breakfast done all day long. The breakfast foods are reliably decent. Lunch and diner have specials my husband likes but I stick to spinach salad or various salads. The staff is very accommodating. We did have an odd experience this Sunday at breakfast. We were asked to leave as soon as we finished eating. Yes ppl were waiting but a second cup of coffee and a few more words with our guests (who drove all the way across the state to meet us) would have been nice. If eating and leaving right after is to be expected - the restaurant should POST THEIR POLICY for customers. None of our group has ever been asked to leave a restaurant before. Sorry I could not give a better star rating because of this ? of a new policy.

The place where they prioritize they’re regulars and treat the rest like their money of a different lesser currency. The wait is so long when the restaurant is nearly empty. Bring out cold food and disregard your dissatisfaction. There’s only one waiter there that is always extremely pleasant to everyone. His name is Eric…and he doesn’t work all the time. I try and give it the benefit of the doubt but I’m disappointed more than pleased every visit. This may very well be my last.

Use to go to family breakfasts here a few years back. Today while waiting at tire depot for my tired I decided to stop in. Erik/c was so very nice and perfectly attentive! Only came for a coffee and a side or two and all surpassed my expectation! Made me even more happy I stopped in!(: thank you

Been going here since they opened and am still satisfied. Their gravy fries and cheese are my favorite! The owner passed which was very sad. His daughters are doing a pretty good job of running the place.

I have been going to Applewood Diner for many years now. I love the food and quick friendly service here. The prices are the best around. I fed a family of 3 for about $30.00 and the table had so much food we had plenty of leftovers. You can't even feed a family of 3 at McDonald's for that price. Love this place and I highly recommend eating here.

The menu is huge. There will be something for everyone. Everything my table ordered was good. It is not great food. But good food, and alot of it. The food was also served very quickly. My waitress, Rosie was excellent. She was friendly, attentive, and she had great opinions and suggestions about the menu. We sat outside, which was really nice. I will say that if you are conscientious about the pandemic, the waitstaff are all masked. But the other guests do not wear their masks when they get up from the tables. I would definitely go again, but only during seasons I can eat outdoors.

This place makes me feel like I got sucked in a wormhole back to 1989. Drearily dated decor in need of an update into this century. The food itself was mediocre, but at least it was cheap. This place is great if you're an oldster looking to get away from those punk kids at hip young places like McDonald's. Probably won't be back but it wasn't the worst experience of my life.

Quiet setting. Would not suggest the tuna steak. Extremely dry and flavorless. Cbicken noodle soup was delicious tho. 4 out of five.

Clearly this restaurant has been around for a while. And obviously local patrons are fairly regular and loyal. Perhaps that's what can breed complacency and not allow a restaurant to really stand out among the crowd. True, we have been through Covid and we are still struggling through all that that means, and some consideration has to be given to that. Clearly the staff is working really hard. There's an old adage that says if they have a lot of stuff on the menu they probably don't do well on any particular one. I kind of felt that way when we went to lunch yesterday there. I even took a picture of the pile of menus and addendum's that they brought to the table. There's a lot to choose from. When I asked my wife about her French onion soup and her salad she felt that the dishes did not have much in the way of flavor. My meatball sub was not enormous, which I was frankly thankful for, because sometimes those type of sandwiches can be come unmanageable. It had all the components that I expected it to have, but I kind of yawned at the flavor. With regard to the previously mentioned staff working really hard, it was clear that with capacity only at maybe a quarter full they were already running and dodging and weaving pretty quickly. Almost to a distraction. Yesterday was a pretty nice weather day and sitting outside was allowed, but I wouldn't necessarily say that the view of road construction and traffic was something that would drive me to want to go sit out there. The interior was clean and so was the bathroom. There was a lot of wood grain interior features, and they had attractive imitation Tiffany lamp covers above all the tables, which was pretty. If I lived in the area, I could see myself going there in a pinch, but if I could take a ride a little bit further and find something else, I probably would. It is a cut above a fast food restaurant. More in line with a Chili's, or Applebee's, or 99 or the like.

The Mexicans are by far the rudest servers/manger ever. They do not treat all customers the same some they seem to be friendly, professional, welcoming while other customers which appear to be the minorities are discarded and last to services after the servers will continue to walk by a table full of dishes and empty cups. When trying to place your order they rush you and cut you off. It is so sad the service and management is awful because the food really good. This isn’t an isolated incident and always seem to be the same rude manger and servers
