Emily’s Catering Group is the most amazing caterer you can pick for your wedding. Every single person I dealt with was professional, kind, patient and genuinely good at their job. Cheryl O. dealt with my crazy bride emails and Rick K. worked with me from day one to create an amazing menu. He was patient and had great ideas to make our day special. The tasting may have been my favorite part! I tried all the dishes, salads and some desserts too! out of this world!The food was delicious and plentiful. I had guests stopping me on the dance floor to tell me how good everything looked & tasted and how great the service was. They have some unique appetizers and you should try them all. All the food was cooked perfectly and came out the temperature they were meant to be.I ran out of an ingredient for my signature drink and someone from Emily’s went out and picked up more! I asked for my dinner to be packed up and got two full servings, which my new husband and I enjoyed the next day.I did not see one fork out of place, I did not see any untidy messes and whatever I asked for, was done. The staff was very friendly.Emily's let me pick up my linens the day before my wedding, so my coordinator could set up the tables. They have a variety of plate settings to choose from and colored glasses which add a nice touch. I really cannot say enough about them.I truly believe our October 2023 wedding day was so great, because we picked such an awesome caterer.

Emily's did a fantastic job catering my son's wedding! The hors d'oeuvres were a hit! Excellent presentation. My favorite were the fried artichokes and truffle fries. I was very impressed with the service. My pet peeve is dirty dishes sitting in front of people and that did not happen! The wedding cake was delicious. White homemade cake with a light strawberry cream. My only suggestion would be to have had someone to serve all the pies. It was kind of awkward having to do it yourself. I definitely recommend Emily's for your next event.

If you do one thing on your wedding day, HIRE EMILY'S CATERING!!!!! My husband and I used Emily's for our 5/13/23 wedding at Smith Farm Gardens and the only thing we regret is not booking them sooner. As soon as we reached out to Emily's for more information, we were hooked. From day one, all the way to the wedding day, Rick and Cheryl were patient, knowledgeable and kind. They answered every single question I had (and there were A LOT), whether it was through email, phone calls or stopping by in person to chat. After we had our tasting, it just solidified our decision because everything was SO GOOD. Unlike other tastings we attended, this was a private tasting and Rick really paid attention to what we were looking for and all the little details. Because we were unsure what "package" to go with, Rick prepared a little bit of everything on the menu for us to try. There was so much food leftover that he allowed us to bring it home and let our parents try too (which they loved). After reviewing our options with Rick, we ended up going with the grazing table appetizers, dinner stations and dessert table. The stations were a hit because there was something for everyone and it was different (and more fun) than your typical buffet or plated wedding food. Also included with the catering was a snack/beverage station (parmesan popcorn and mango lemonade YUM) for before the ceremony AND a custom cake. Rick and Cheryl also worked with us to come up with our own "custom" signature drinks, which was so fun. My husband did an Old Fashioned with a candied bacon garnish and I did a Prickly Pear Margarita and they were absolutely phenomenal. At the end of the night, Emily's did chocolate chip cookies with milk for our guest favors. Cheryl allowed me to print my own stickers that she then added to the bags, which was such a nice touch. I also have to mention the GORGEOUS table settings, blue napkins and blue drinking glasses that Rick and Cheryl found to perfectly match my vision. I can confidently say Rick and the entire Emily's Catering team made our wedding day so incredibly special. From the beginning, Rick and Cheryl went above and beyond. During the planning process, Emily's instantly wowed us with their thoughtfulness and expertise in the space. (The tasting was especially fantastic!!) Rick presented us a dynamic menu, one that we knew would impress and satisfy our guests. From delicious passed hors d'oeuvres to pre-ceremony popcorn, unbelievably beautiful plated dinners cooked to perfection and an array of yummy bite-sized desserts, each detail was executed with precision and an immense amount of care. Our guests are STILL talking about the food, especially our wedding cake :) The service and the presentation were both outstanding!!!And the service—hire them not only for the amazing food but for the five-star service! Our wedding day forecast unfortunately had rain, but that didn't stop Emily's from catering our event as originally planned. Although there were hurdles from our outdoor venue that were out of our control, Rick and Cheryl jumped into action. Countless phone calls were made, updating us every step of the way, and within two hours the team found a solution. It was so comforting knowing the commitment their team passionately has for delivering the best possible service to their clients. We truly can't thank Rick, Cheryl, and the entire Emily's catering enough for saving the day.

Five stars isn't enough, Emily's is platinum!!!! Literally the best wedding reception I have EVER been to, including my own. Our family is from Pittsburgh, PA. We had to do our daughter's entire wedding and reception remote. She wanted to be married in her great-grandmother's church in Danbury, and reception at her grandfather's in West Hartford. A huge challenge to put that kind of trust in folks 10 hours away! Emily's didn't skip a beat.. they worked with us for an entire year in advance to make sure everything was to our very specific liking. I had no idea how elegant everything would be until the day of. Everyone was dressed in all black, just sharp! The food... UNBELIEVABLE... I cannot say enough of the food, that lavender lemonade... to die for... folks at the reception were from all over the U.S. including as far as California, South Carolina, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee and Pa. EVERYONE was raving about the food.. I had to entrust EVERYTHING to Emily's including table settings/decor. They nailed it... just could go on forever about them and they come HIGHLY recommended!! Thank you so much to Rick, Cheryl, and Janna and all the rest of the staff who made Rose and Ben's day to remember a dream come true!!!
I recently officiated a wedding at the home of a very well to do couple in Westport, CT. It was a second marriage for both the bride and groom and was held throughout the expanse of the couple’s lush and lovely property.The bride opted to plan and manage the event herself. Luckily, Rick Kerzner and the Team at Emily’s Catering Group showed up extra early and were able to take over and rescue the event from the bride’s self-imposed chaos and impending disaster.Everything about the event turned out impeccable. From the pre-wedding drinks and hors d’oeuvres, quickly dealing with a brief sun shower, to the elegant sit down dinner, everything about the evening was stellar.The plated prime rib, crab cake, asparagus and celery root puree main dinner could not have been more perfect. Fortunately, I had passed on many of the hors d’oeuvres and had room for the overly generous main meal.Moments before the wedding cake and dessert buffet were rolled out, and as he walked around talking to the dozens of guests gathered for the elegant wedding feast, the groom was overheard announcing to everyone, “on a scale of 1 to 10, this was definitely a 15”.As I continued to speak with the couple over the following few weeks about the wedding and details of filing the necessary paperwork with the Town of Westport and getting copies of photos, the conversation always returned to the elegance and over the top professional food and service provided by Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group.I have officiated many weddings often at elegant venues, but this is the first time the conversations during and after the wedding have been dominated by the service provided by the caterer. I can’t agree with the groom more. Not only did they rescue the event from impending disaster, Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group definitely elevated this wedding to a Five Diamond Wedding Feast no one in attendance had ever experienced.Bravo and Congratulations to the new couple, but especially Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group for the Five Diamond Wedding Feast at Westport you so elegantly imagineered.

We had Sasha and Kris the day of our event who took care of every detail especially our crepe station. True professionals from the first call to the end of our event. And the food was DELICIOUS! This is long overdue – but my husband and I used Emily’s catering for our October 2022 wedding and we could not recommend them enough (hands down the best decision we made). Rick and Cheryl are absolutely incredible. Cheryl was our main contact person and I truly couldn’t have done all the planning without her. She answered every question and offered her expert advice which made making decisions so much easier. I swear she answered my emails within the hour of me sending them (you can’t find that customer service anymore!) She was prompt with all the quotes, menu adjustments, and payment receipts. She made you feel like you were the only person that mattered!From the moment, we had our tasting with Rick I knew we were in the best hands- his knowledge and expertise around creating our menu was priceless. He helped us adjust and perfect our menu down to the nuts on our salad!!The day of the wedding staff helped us make sure all centerpieces were set up and that every table looked perfect. All staff were attentive and friendly- our quests could not stop raving about how fun and amazing they all were. We as the couple had one server to ourselves- she made sure our drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed! Our bartenders were awesome and made sure everyone was taken care of. Servers/bartenders were dancing and having a good time all while making sure every quest was attended to!Now the food was absolutely perfect!! The passed hors d’oeuvres were incredible- all of them were unique and presented in such fun ways -mac and cheese in cast iron pots, grilled cheese with tomato soup, mini lobster tails, etc. Every quest could have some of everything if they wanted- there were plenty of servers and options. We decided to do a sit-down meal (NY strip, Red snapper, and Grilled Airline chicken) everything came out perfect- and the steaks were even made to our quests liking!! People are still raving about our food and ask us all time who we used.Long story short you cannot go wrong with Emily’s catering group! We will use them for every future event.
