Found a STAPLE in the coleslaw. We ordered Thursday night and had left-overs Friday. I found the staple on Friday. Contacted the restaurant and was told "please try to call us right away when something like that happens so we can check our salads to prevent something like that from happening again." Pardon me, but I'm not your food safety check. They were willing to credit me a free pint of coleslaw (no thanks! Already found one staple!)

Food was awesome. Point on. Gravy was the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was crispy and not greasy at all. Would recommend 100%. Friendly staff.

Greer's Chicken in Bristol offers a friendly and homey atmosphere, reminiscent of Georgia. The menu includes a fresh fried fish sandwich, chicken nuggets, and Mac and cheese that are sure to please both kids and adults. It is the best fried chicken in the state of CT and a must have comfort food. The chicken chunks are delightful and the chicken sandwiches on the harvest bakery hard roll are dreamy. The staff is welcoming, prompt, and courteous, making so many families satisfied. The fried food is not greasy and is worth every penny spent, making it a great dining option and a Bristol staple. It is worth returning for every Bristol visit.
