I used to come here all the time years ago and it was delicious and a hidden gem. It’s since lost its way. Kind of sad. Fries were good at

When you go against the grain, hopefully you have a good explanation as to why and for Greer's, let me see if I can break this one down properly. Upfront, the customer service here is amazing. Both women behind the counter were nothing short of amazing. This is. definitely a small shack like establishment and you have some parking but not a lot. Do not expect to dine inside here for they do not have much space for any indoor tables. I will start with their chicken chunks which are basically made fresh to order vs you ordering tenders, which are frozen. The Chicken chunks were tasty and thick little pieces of chicken (think poppers) but larger in size. A nice crunch to the bite with very little seasoning here and so I dipped mine into their housemate honey mustard. It was tangy and creamy, a nice dipping addition here. The Crinkle Cut Fries were slated up just right and the more I ate, the crispier the fries became as I sunk deeper into the fry box. A taste of French fry Bliss indeed. We were on a roll so far but then I we arrive at the Macaroni & Cheese...... The cheese sauce seemed curdled and didn't have the best overall flavor to it. My spiral elbows were harder than normal for me and so this Mac and Cheese did not pack a powerful bite nor was it friendly. It seemed as if I took bites of despair with this one. If loneliness had a taste, this would be it. Which brings us to their cornbread. Dense and thick for this small piece and so you will instantly need something to drink for it will truly absorb all of the space in your throat and FAST!! Slight butter taste but I am not sure as to the cornmeal used on this one, just wasn't doing it for me. Now for our MAIN...The chicken itself. It's rare that I come across extremely light chicken. Almost as if it was fried with the first round of flour, taken out and floured up again for a quick blanch fry. Don't look to taste any seasoning here for again, lightly salted and its flavor was lack luster in sight of many other chicken spots. We fell short on this one for me but everyone has different tastes and so, you may love it.

Had the distinct pleasure of eating at Greer’s Chicken in Bristol today…the fresh fried fish sandwich was great! The kids loved the chicken nuggets and raved over the Mac and cheese. Service was welcoming, prompt and courteous. Will definitely return on all Bristol visits!

The worst tasting blamed chicken I've ever had the chicken chunks tasted like ground chicken with no flavor .. the Mac tasted as of it was cooked on cheese and water . Slaw 4 only thing we ate were the fries a lucky homeless man received a hearty dinner tonight .. never again I'll cook

Placed a pick up order online which was easy. Ordered a chicken sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, mayo and cheese. The order was prepared ontime and was still hot. The Chicken on the other hand was a different story60% bread, 20% toppings, 20% chickenFrom what little chicken I had on the sandwich it was pretty good. Well seasoned, crispy, not overly oily. The oil was fresh as well. The breast itself was very small. So small, that after 3 average sized bites, the chicken was GONE only left with bread and toppings. Certainly not worth the $7 dollars and change.I will try this spot one more time very soon in hopes it was just a bad day or one off. I will edit this review to either add stars if it's better or take a star away and leave it as a 1 star review.

Went here for the first time in a while. Got there around dinner time and it was pretty steady the place is pretty cramped so atmosphere wise it's tough to be comfortable while waiting for your food. The service is always great though everyone is super friendly and pretty fast for what food you're getting.Nothing crazy ordered tonight some assorted chicken, a potato salad and sweet potato fries.I was starving and I dug into the chicken and there wasba nice crispy outside layer of the chicken and on the inside was underwhelming. The chicken was pretty flavorless. The skin was the only thing that really gave it much flavor. Luckily I asked for some dipping sauce which both the ranch and honey mustard were good but still didn't help the chicken. Maybe next time I'll get something already doused in a sauce.Sweet potato fries I'm sure we're crispy at the time of my order but take out they did get a little soggy but still had a decent crisp and good flavor.Potato salad was good as well, not too much mayo which is a plus and I happen to really enjoy and real egg can be found in every bite.I was unimpressed by the chicken but the sides were able to help the meal overall.

Used to love this place, got it for every family get together. A extended family staple. Ordered a catering meal I guess you’d say for a luncheon after a funeral, one of the new owners took our order, she seemed high, and uninterested in taking our business. Charged a delivery fee for an in town delivery because it was “far” even though they said free in town delivery. We asked for an itemized receipt, they sent us a general receipt without details, we again asked for an itemized receipt, they never responded. When they delivered the meal, the delivery person just walked into the church, dropped it off and didn’t tell anyone. Will never be returning.
