Acoustics inside are awful. Husband's pepper pot was undercooked (eggs were runny). My toast was 1. The teeny end pieces, and 2. Unbuttered. My husband's pumpernickel toast was 1. Not even toasted, and 2. Also unbuttered. Coffee was good and waitresses quick to refill. One time visit was enough.

If you like overpriced frozen reheated meat, and mediocre food, then this is the place to go. Service was abysmal, had to hear multiple people ask other servers for their own server. Was overcharged, and they even snuck a credit card charge right at the end. Fries were completely bland and tasteless. Looking for a solid breakfast? Drive right by and head to Parkside instead.

Maybe we came on an off day but the rude server was running the entire restaurant herself and because of it the service suffered. Everyone in the room was pissed at the long wait time. The worst part was my family member found a long strand of hair in her breakfast sandwich. The food isn't worth the price. On my bill, they even charged me $2 for an extra plate to share my pancake with my 5 year old. Absolutely unheard of!!! Will never come back!!!

The food is mediocre at best, however there was a sandwich I ordered for my meal and it was pretty solid. My partner ordered a plate of French toast and didn’t even receive the full amount of toast, it was dry and the flavor was lacking. The strawberries were the best part of this meal. We seated our selves as instructed however the table we sat at was sticky and they hadn’t wiped it down until we got our menus. The waitress was okay however the staff essentially rushed us in and out of the place and took my partners unfinished meal without even asking first. The food overall was overpriced and average. I will say it was hot and was seemingly fresh, I’d say for a quick meal it’s an okay spot but with other options available this place would not be on my recommendations list. May not come back due to the poor service.

I’ve been going to Jimmy’s for 20+ years and have found recently with new servers it’s been a little tough going back because you wait wait wait! Some servers need to up their game and maybe not seem short with attitude if they expect a decent tip.
This morning’s experience was hair in the food and bathroom needing to be cleaned.
It was incredibly stuffy when we walked in, we suggested turning the ceiling fan on but they opted to open the door for less than 10 minutes making it a little uncomfortable to enjoy our breakfast. They have the ceiling fans, why not use them??
We love to support local businesses, and certainly hope they read reviews to make the necessary changes that keep us and other patrons coming back!

Just an average place to eat breakfast. It’s difficult to enjoy your meal when people around you aren’t getting waited on. Not sure what the staff was doing but one table didn’t get cleaned off for almost an hour. Someone sat there not long after we came in but left after not getting waited on. Another group came in and sat there and the table was still not being cleaned off. In the meantime other people came in and got waited on while the group in the corner was still waiting. I’m just going to avoid this place from now on.

I got Italian toast which was not really Italian toast it was like a store bought not from a bakery and they charged. 75 cents for it. Hash browns were adequate at best. Not a fan. They charged 1.00 for Cinnamon Raisin bread which probably cost them 5.00 max.

Stopped by on a random busy day (packed house) and was taken care of promptly and efficiently. Amazing service overall, constant attention, and needs all met. Order Italian sausage burger with home fries, both delicious, plus coffee.

Back when i used to work for pepin steel i used to go here all the time for lunch when we weren't on the road ive only been here a hand full of times for breakfast but mostly lunch great place to grab a quick bite to eat in a very friendly atmosphere once the staff gets to know you they sometimes know your order right away and greet you by name when you walk in the burgers here are absolutely amazing they cook their burgers to the exact temp of your choice and always ask you if everything is good because they actually care and want you to enjoy your meal and time herethe only bad thing i could really say about this place is the parking lot is a bit small lol

Parking: Its a smaller parking lot but if you can find a spot the food is well worth it

Kid-friendliness: Very very kid friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: You can fit wheelchairs in but its a little tight because it is a small building
