Calamari was so overcooked, completely dry and more breading than actual calamari and no octopus. Got the chicken broccoli alfredo pizza. Barely any chicken or broccoli and no seasoning whatsoever. Never had pizza so bland in my life. The only good thing was the staff. The woman who took my order and rang me out was super pleasant to deal with. Dont know if they were having an off night but it definitely was not worth the price I paid.

Food was fantastic, but the woman on the phone wasn't listening when we placed our order, even after repeating the order and confirming it. When we arrived to pick it up, she told me I never ordered my own meal. Didn't even get an apology an had to wait an extra 20 minutes.

I’m still giving a 5* review…I just wish it had more sauce on it. I got the BBQ chicken pizza…but I had it in SC with onion rings on it and wanted it that way up here. Pizza is great for presentation, tastes great..I just wish it had a bit more sauce..it doesn’t really taste like bbq..otherwise I have no complaints. I just moved here last week and had the eggplant parm dinner and the portion was absolutely huuuuuuge. I’ll be back again..guess I’ll just have to ask for more sauce but love this place.

We normally order takeout, but I went for a baby shower, and the restaurant room where it was held was clean and ready for guests. The minute we walked in, they greeted us and took us to the event room. The food was great, and the server for the shower was on it, keeping the food table with enough food for everyone on refilling when needed. This was the one in Bristol. Awesome service and food. The room is free for events you just pay for the catered food. Awesome!!! Planning on some of our family events there.
Parking: There is some parking in front. Too close to street for my liking, especially if you have small kids, but there's also a lot behind the restaurant with easy access to either street directions you need to go

Service and food were great. Our pizza tasted fantastic and my chicken d'italiano was very good too. My only complaint (and it's really just quibbling) is that the sauce in my dish was rather thin. So much that it was almost a soup but it tasted great all the way through.

Max’s Pizza is amazing, , so good that it is all I have ordered for ten years… but yesterday I asked for a Chicken Alfredo and a big salad…. it was wonderful. The salad was so fresh and well prepared, better than any salad I have had 10 years since moving to CT. Including home prepped, because the grocery is not as fresh as this.The dinner was perfect, so delicious, generously portioned , I enjoyed it so much.
Max Pizza has been an icon in the Bristol, Burlington & New Britain area since it opened its first restaurant right here in Bristol in 1973(?)...I have been a patron of Max Pizza (Bristol) for the past several decades. Always fresh & always made with the finest ingredients. I have been friends of the two brothers seems like forever.Give it a try you will surely see the difference...Cheers!

I was born and raised in CT and at 42 I moved to Ohio. One thing is clear, Ohio pizza is so subpar compared to CT pizza and Max’s pizza is by far the best ever! I had to get a pie for my drive home to Ohio!!! And each time I visit my home state of CT, the only pizza I will get is Max’s!!!!! Yummy!

I've been ordering takeout from here for what seems like forever, so we decided to eat in. People yelling, kids running around and screaming, I think I'd stick to take out. The noise level is so high you can't even hear the waitress.
