Riverside Restaurant Bristol

This place is one of my family’s favorite breakfast restaurants— we order from here multiple time a month, however we won’t be continuing that tradition after the deeply disappointing customer service we received. We ordered a breakfast via DoorDash and after waiting a long time, got a call from a dasher saying the restaurant was refusing to make our order because it was “already picked up”. My order was apparently picked up by a “dasher” (which I never got a confirmation of) and then reordered by DoorDash. I decided to call the restaurant to figure out what was going on (and explain that apparently our food was stolen by a “dasher” ) and was told that even if I replaced an order they would not fill any order placed under my name. They went on to tell me that if I wanted to order food I should be finding a new place to order from because they will not fulfill any order that comes through from me. This truly baffles me because it is not my fault that someone stole our breakfast order. We also offered to pay for a repeat order and they said “we will not make it”. Why? Truly disappointing.

Waitress Marisol was extremely friendly and prompt. Very attentive. Food was excellent. Clean restaurant and decent prices. I would definitely come back.

Staff is great, food is good, but the prices are a little outrageous for a cheap breakfast joint paid upwards of 45$ for simple pancakes bacon and eggs for 2, almost didn’t even want the food when I heard the price. They have old prices listed online

I just paid 60 dollars worth of food, this is my scramble eggs for the amount of money I paid for, the staffs are amazing but paying 60 dollars worth of food and this is what I get for my scramble eggs is pretty silly.

I'm not usually one to complain about things but I was really disappointed about the food quality and how upcharged I was. Asked for sweet tea, I got unsweetened. I asked for chocolate chips in my pancakes and got charged extra for them and there was no chocolate chips. My home fries were unseasoned and bland and my toast was soggy and cold. Somehow ended up being 40 dollars between me and my boyfriend even though the prices on the menu didn't add up that way. Definitely disappointed and not going to be going back :/

Prices to high, food not good. Found out that one of the best employees was let go after 18 years,.and a non-English speaking and understanding family member hired in her place. We have been customers for over 15 years. Place has gone down the toilet.

I have been a customer for years but I'm done. For the third visit in a row, food was not as ordered and it's gotten too expensive. The staff is rushing around so much it's challenging to inform them of food not as ordered.
