On our recent trip to Connecticut, me and my significant other decided to take a quick trip to Tonn's Marketplace. It seems like they were having a festival of sorts going on, one of the trucks there was Smetana's. I've had pierogis before but none as good as this, this was one of if not the best pierogis I've ever tried they gave us an apple butter and sour cream and I personally couldn't imagine a better pairing. I had the harvest pierogis while at the Gastropark in West Hartford. So delicious with the homemade sour cream. Great flavor, cooked perfectly, beautifully presented and super friendly service! Can't wait to try more next time!
