This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I have tried beers from NCP at beer festivals before, but this was my first visit to the brewery.

The brewery is a bit hard to find as its placed away from the road and you have to pass a truck loading zone on the way there. Plenty of parking space is available. The brewery has a big patio sectioned into 2 areas. An indoor space is big enough an has multiple seating options including a couch. They have a limited food menu consisting of frozen pizzas. I tried pepperoni and it was passable. However, the best part about this place are the owners. They are extremely friendly and can talk to any customer sharing stories about their brewing experience and so much more. I spent a good chunk of my time inside just talking to Micah and Dan.

As for the beers, in short: they are great. NCP is a brewery collective, so it serves beers from multiple brewers. You can order a flight of 4 to try as many as you can. For this review I tried everything they had on tap. I enjoyed all the beers. Even the weaker ones are a solid selection in my eyes. My favorites for the day were NCP Not so dark secrets (white stout) and Skeleton Ki Thai Tea porter. The former is a rare beer to see in any of the breweries and it was brewed incredibly well here, the latter is a fun experiment on porters which ended up to be awesome. If beers is not what you want, then they also serve stronger drinks, cocktails and wines.

This is a great brewery overall and I will recommend it to any craft beer enthusiast in this state. NCP deserves a dedicated trip here to taste their brews.

This is EASILY the most friendly brewery in the area. The beer is fantastic, but the vibes are the best part. The guys here can talk to anyone about anything forever. Best time in the state by far.
