Beautiful decor, friendly welcoming staff, delicious sushi, scallion pancakes, pork gyoza and shrimp fried rice. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!!

My brother and I went there on 10/25/25, while Aki was having a promotion. The food (Teriyaki Tofu with soup) was fantastic and well-priced. The service was also very quick, and the staff was very polite. An excellent restaurant overall!

My first time here! Everything was delicious! I had Kani salad. The best I ever had! I had a few speciality rolls and sashimi. Everything was mouth watering! They have great service. Definitely coming back.

Great menu with so many choices very different than what you get from other Japanese restaurants in the area. I ordered much too much, but was very happy with my selection. The menu includes pictures of their sushi appetizers, special rolls and many of their offerings which I found really helpful. Started with Miso soup, full of flavor, seaweed and tofu.The Naruto and Christmas rolls were great, full of flavor and the presentation was beautiful. I also ordered Shrimp and Veggie Tempura - tasty, fresh but I thought had too much batter for my taste. Pricing is similar to other places, but the selection is incredible and the portions are not skimpy. They also offer lunch specials, noodles, soup, etc. but the special rolls are a must. This will be my go to place for sushi in the Danbury area. Highly recommend!!!

Went there for lunch for the first time yesterday, the place is well designed with comfy seating and cozy decor, the service was quick and efficient, the sashimi was fresh and tasty but the sushi rolls were small and insignificant which was a bit disappointing since everything else were great. We will definitely go back there again to try other items from their extensive menu. Overall a pleasant experience.

What a find! Aki has the best sushi in the Danbury-Brookfield area - so fresh and delicious, better than anything around here and I’ve been to most. I had the Tokyo roll and eel-special roll. My wife and son were equally impressed with their choices. Even the Jameson & Ginger were perfect. The atmosphere and service were great. Can’t wait to go back for more.

Everything was beautifully prepared and so fresh! The colors, flavors, and presentation were amazing, .My favorite dish definitely is poke bowl ,I tried it in many Japanese restaurants,but here is the best that each bite was fresh and perfectly balanced— highly recommend this place!

The best sushi spot in the area, don’t get me wrong there are a few good options but this is the best one! Fresh sushi, chicken & beef dishes are great, apps are excellent, the vibe is great, good service, my wife & I have eaten here several times and the quality is also consistent!

All I can say is wow. my wife and I went here on a date night when we got a sitter for our 5 month old. so this was our first night out in a while. we were not disappointed. our new favorite sushi spot near the danbury area. we started ordering take out regularly 😅 definitely going to be coming back for those lychee martinis!

Aki was a wonderful experience for dinner for a large group! I got the dinner bento box with sweet potato sushi roll, shumai, chicken teriyaki and seaweed salad. All were delicious and well-seasoned. Not to mention, the cocktail menu is super unique (try the Woo Woo). I would visit again!

Very beautiful clean restaurant. High quality food and fresh. Great services on top of everything. They have good selections of American deserts too. Foods are good. Highly reccomend to try.
