The Stacks Mobile and Stack'd Up Catering

One of my favorite food trucks, probably ever. The wings are meaty, crispy and there are so many sauces to choose from. The hand cut fries are to die for! We have also used them for catering and everything was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced.

The absolute BEST burger I have ever had!! The JJ sauce is delicious and the truffle fries are addictive! Every time they add a few new menu items - I tried the clam strips which I am usually not a fan of but these were so delicious! Had a nice little kick to them and homemade tartar sauce. If they are in your area you must try their food! The couple who runs the truck are wonderful and so accommodating! Always a great experience!

Rude server at food truck. Not a greeting or a smile. Was on his phone while I was waiting to order. We had the single burger. Cold by the time we were texted to pick it up..and greasy...yuck. couldn't eat it

Delicious food options and the owners are great to work with!

I am writing a review to formally express my disappointment and concern following an experience I had at your food truck during my visit to Aquilas Vineyard on 5/18/2025.

After placing an order and providing my phone number, I received a text notifying me that my food was ready. I arrived at the truck approximately five minutes later and stated my name. The cashier remarked, “Yeah, we were waiting for you,” to which I politely responded that I had to walk from my seating area. She then asked you whether the order had already been picked up, and you responded that “a guy just came and got it.” When I clarified that I am a woman, showed the text confirmation, and stated that I had not received the food, the response I received was not an apology or an attempt to rectify the situation.

Instead, I witnessed you express frustration, shrug off the issue, and storm off the truck, slamming the door. I was left standing there — not only without my order but without any acknowledgment or courtesy. I remained calm and respectful throughout, and ultimately requested a refund, which the cashier kindly issued. When you returned and were informed of the refund, your visible irritation was noted, yet still no apology was offered.

Beyond the poor customer service, what left the deepest impact on me was the tone of the interaction — dismissive and emotionally charged in a way that felt deeply personal. I cannot ignore the feeling that my race played a role in how I was treated. This is not an accusation made lightly. The overall behavior — including the long, silent stare from your wife as I left — made me feel judged, unwelcome, and ultimately discriminated against.

I expected a simple, friendly food experience and was met with hostility and humiliation. As a customer, and as a human being, I deserved better. Respect, fairness, and decency should be a given — especially when a business relies on community support and public goodwill which I seen with previous patrons as I was waiting in line to place my order.

I hope you will take this review seriously, not as an attack, but as an opportunity for reflection and change. No one should walk away from your truck feeling the way I did — disrespected, dismissed, and dehumanized.

The fries are fantastic. I regret not trying a burger. Definitely will next time cause they smell amazing. Disappointed with the wings. I heard they're good. We got the Buffalo and the garlic parm. The wings are not seasoned at all an lack much flavor. You can easily tell they're cooked bland and the sauce is the flavor. Overall all not bad. Stick with the first and burgers

Have used Joe multiple times for catering and events and has been great everytime, everyone especially loved the cheese and meat board at this most recent event!!

Horrible!! Long wait and food sub par. Tried them for the first time Sunday at car show in Newtown. The most unfriendly person taking orders and they even ran out of certain food items by noon. Never again.

Dined from food truck at Counter Weight in Cheshire, great burgers, excellent combination of flavors, very well portioned, truffle fries were excellent, would definitely dine again!

AMAZING service and the food is out of this world. I can’t believe what I ate came from a truck! They change the menu every few days but I had the cheese steak and it was to die for.

$25 for a 30 minute wait, a handful of cold french fries, and 3 burnt shrimp. How they are not embarrassed to serve food of this quality at these prices is beyond me. Avoid.

The worst

JJStacks is a an institution when it comes to wings, CT, and of course the @wingaddicts trail. Conveniently located in Brookfield on Federal Road, JJStacks offers over 100 wing sauces and rubs, as well as a variety of of other fresh, epically prepared dishes including burgers, dogs and salads. All freshly made. All reasonably priced. I can not say enough great things about this place. The food, the atmosphere, the staff.... Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. JJ Stacks not only is a destination, but in my opinion in the top 3 wing spots in the state.

Regarding the wings, as said earlier there are over 100 ways to have them for anyone from the experienced wing veteran with a high heat tolerance to fans of the more sweet, there is something for everyone. And don't be afraid to try some of the unique sauces that may sound odd at first, like the Scotch Bonnet Cherry, Blind Rhino, PB&J, and Strawberry Rhubarb Habanero. No matter what you order you will leave this place happy, full, and wanting more!
