We have been going to John's on and off for the past 20 years - but we just had a 90th birthday party for my mom this past weekend with about 25 guests. I am extremely pleased we chose them. The restaurant was accommodating and easy to work with. The wait staff was excellent and upbeat. And the food was delicious and generous. Definitely recommend John's Best Trattoria if you are looking to host a party or just for dinner or a pizza (their sicilian is excellent)!

This was my first & last time eating at this restaurant. For starters my party of 3 walked inside waited to be sat down nobody came to attend us. We then proceeded to speak with two employees in take out told us it’s okay to sit ourselves down. Sat down getting ready to order, then a party of 7 walks in Management walks up to my table saying “ For next time wait for someone to seat you down “ in a condescending tone. My group then stated what was told to us by her employees but instead of apologizing for the miscommunication & inconvenience tries to act like her employees would never state that. Red flags all over the situation before our food even came out. Finished eating now we’re leaving, once again instead of apologizing expressing the gratitude of us coming to support this wanna be michelin star pizza shop. The owner then makes a fake joke saying “boy were you guys hungry” the whole interaction left such a bad taste in my mouth regardless how the food tasted. The experience is what makes the customer come back. After reading the reviews she has it seems like a clear patter that she’d rather forfeit the business than keep up with customer service. 0/10

Ordered Pasta Fazouole and it had no flavor: tasted like pasta water with beans and pasta. Definitely lacking key ingredients. Told the waitress, they tried to charge me anyway, then took it off but kept the tax on the soup I could not eat. The owner was not buying it was rude saying NO ONE ever complains. I told him to eat it and see that the cook made it too fast just to serve it. Owner was rude and didn't care. Sorry I work hard for my money and I expect good food. Another disappointment in the restaurant tour: just proving prices are high and ingredients are being scrimped, portions are small to make a profit. Eat at home..

If there was a zero instead of a star it would’ve been a zero! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Chicken parm was tiny and the penne… about a quarter cup worth was cold. BLAND AS BLAND CAN BE. TERRIBLE! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! I do Highly recommend to walk about 50 feet to the BBQ place called Hoo Doo Brown and wait the 45 min.

This place is a quiet hidden gem. Been a fan of John's Best for years, but it's better than ever.Great food, great atmosphere, great ambiance... And if you're lucky enough to get Madeleine or Christina as servers... The best and funniest in the business. I highly recommend.

The owner is nice until you have a problem with the food. She will argue with you about the food and throw it out if you don't want to pay for gross food that she thought was okay to bring to your table. She will forfeit your business rather than make the moment right so you might come back and hope the food might be better the next time. Our waitress, Madeleine was very nice though and did her best despite the bad management.
