We dined in for the first time after enjoying many fantastic take-out pizzas, and the Pepperoni Wheels are a family favorite! The fried calamari was the best we have ever had, and our entrees were made to perfection. We look forward to coming back with family and friends.

While we haven’t dined in, we order takeout from here about once a month. The location is close to our house, making it a great option for an easy pickup. My husband loves their crust, and their Caesar salad is one of my favorites.

I wasn’t going to leave a review because it’s New Year’s Eve and nobody wants to be working a dinner shift but then I got to my dessert and so now I have to. Unfortunately because I wasn’t planning on reviewing, I didn’t take any pictures until I got to said desserts that made me want to leave a review.
We ordered food online to be picked up. I ordered the Scallop Risotto, the Cioppino Toscano, Pappardelle ai Porcini, and the Fettuccine Amatriciana.
Cioppino Toscano is supposed to be a tomato based seafood dish. Theirs is straight butter water made salty with some salty seafood broth. All the seafood in it was overcooked. Mussels shriveled up and there was an unidentifiable fish.
The Scallop Risotto was overcooked and under seasoned. What should have been a risotto, was a congealed pile of bloated yellow rice. I placed the order for pick up at 1720 and was there 10 minutes early and live on the four corners so it’s not like I let it sit there to get overdone. Serval nice large pieces of scallop on top albeit very plain and unexciting.
The Fettuccine Amatriciana did not have a touch of red wine, it was slapped by it leaving a very unpalatable fruity flavor. The pieces of pancetta were like chewing on a rubber nipple. The description also says white and green fettuccini, but there was zero green to the dish.
Where my stars come from is the Pappardelle. Creamy, decently seasoned, healthy portion of mushrooms. Also the bread that came with the food was great also.
Dessert. I got a slice of limoncello cheesecake and I guess that’s what it was because it had a slight hint of lemon to it. The texture was like eating a block of tofu. The picture of my cannoli is enough I think to express my disappointment. One little swirl at each end 🤦🏻♀️
First the service was excellent. Friendly and warm, we can't wait to return. The food! Just great, really great. We had the grilled Caesar salad, Papparadelle and cheese cake, each better than the next. Very, very delicious.

We order here about twice a month. I commonly get a chicken Marsala grinder, something that is not offered on their menu, at least on on grinder anyway, but they always gladly make it for me, and it’s amazing it’s my absolute favorite one around! But tonight when we called the young women said we couldn’t order it bc they don’t offer it and they were to busy! To busy to put something you already make on a grinder! So I called back and said i didn’t realize you don’t offer chicken Marsala! She said “we do we just don’t offer it on a grinder” we went back and forth and i asked five times to talk to someone in charge she basically refused! Just kept saying she would have them make it. I declined I wanted to speak to the owner/ manager. she finally did go to get someone she came back and said “he went out” there’s only one person above you who can handle this! Most unprofessional and ridiculous experience I ever had! I find it hard to believe the two kind gentlemen I usually deal with would be happy with the way she treated us! She never even asked if they could make the grinder she just refused claiming to be to busy to put it in bread for us!
Great pizza ! I was very happy when I was able to have my gluten free pizza, which I don’t always find available in a lot of places. My husband had the grandma pie and he totally loved it and the giant garlic knots. I had an awesome antipasto salad before the pizza was served.

We stopped for an unplanned lunch visit and sat near the grab and go side of the restaurant. The pizza was excellent. Crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and a generous amount of meat.

This place is special and a gem to find in Brookfield, CT.
Sam, the owner, was so gracious and made our elderly Aunt's birthday very special.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is old school classic.
We will be back and I highly recommend La Piazza.

$26.78 for a large pepperoni pizza and it’s not even good. Ridiculous. All these positive reviews must be fake. Or the negative ones are deleted.

This is a little known gem in Brookfield. They opened recently as an expansion of the pizza parlor next door. My daughter and I dined here during Mother’s Day weekend. They have a bar
The food was AMAZING! We had the Fettuccine Amatriciana and the Paccheri Buttera both were a fork full of, “ is this the best Italian food I ever had??”
Pancetta in the fettuccine dish and green peas in the large rigatoni with vodka sauce were both had very deep and rich flavors
The drinks were as beautiful as they were delicious’

Just ordered a Philly cheesesteak and was very disappointed. First, they charge you extra for onions and peppers which is standard on a cheesesteak. But that would’ve been fine if the sandwich was good, but it wasn’t. Looks like it’s Made with processed steak, like Steak Um, and there was barely any of that on the sandwich. They top it with a thick layer of caramelized onion; way too much. And then they put some orange American cheese on top of it. Last of all, the bread was terrible. For $18.00, I think you should get an authentic cheesesteak made with real sliced steak. Grill the peppers and onions, right into the meat, add some high-quality melted, provolone, and splurge for a decent baguette to serve it on. The restaurants, beautiful, but I would skip the cheesesteak. You’ll only be disappointed.

We stumbled across this hidden gem. As we walked around the plaza, we saw the sign for a restaurant but only saw the bar lounge. We felt a little underdressed but went in to check it out. We were warmly greeted, given a most amazing menu, and decided to give it a try. The food and service were fantastic. We are looking forward to future visits.

So glad we found this place. Coming from NY, we’re fussy about our Italian food. We weren’t disappointed. Lots to choose from. The rice balls were cooked perfectly! I came back for more! Can’t wait to taste their pesto version. The red sauce was delicious for dipping. Sandwiches were excellent. The cheesecake was the best I’ve ever tasted!! …Generous portions and friendly manager. Pleased to see a fridge with grab-and-go ready-made portions. Salmon, pasta primavera and beet salad I brought home was such a treat. Can’t wait to try the ravioli with vodka sauce! Looking forward to the restaurant opening soon.
