Immediately upon entering you will notice the typical faded backlit menu seen in so many New York spots we love and enjoy. As you walk by the fish tank you are greeted with some of the most friendly service you will ever get. All the food here is prepared fresh, never frozen, and always has the perfect crisp to juiciness ratio.

Compared to other Chinese spots in the area this place is not only better service and better quality, but better prices as well. Our recent order was over ten items and it was still under 80 bucks. Unfortunately they do not deliver but are always open for takeout. Trust me. Moon Star is worth the trip!

How disappointing. The pineapple chicken was so dried out, it was inedible. I could barely cut into it. The egg roll and wanton soup were decent, however. Not sure what they did to the chicken.

Poor customer service. Going there 15 years and 1st time prob. With order. Called and man said its my husbands fault for accepting the wrong order under my name and now he cant use that food again, its wasted and the rule is you are resonsible for checking entire order, not them. Husband is dyslexic and i just had surgery. Owner a jerk to us. It was a mistake on both parts and he kept saying its my husbands fault for accepting the order and food wasted. Never going back due to rudesness of heavy accented man who blames customers for their errors. Got our order ice cold. .

I have been eating food here for 10 years and it never disappoints. Love the spring rolls with cheese. I can’t find those anywhere else. They clean the fryer very regularly. Everything is always fresh and delicious.

We have been going to Moon Star for the very best Chinese food for many years. The food is so good that after moving away four years ago, it is still the place we go to every time we come back to visit family and have dinner together. Today we had another delicious meal with an additional order to take back home! The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the online order process is easy, quick and efficient. Still love Moon Star!

i tried this food while high and it was one of the best experiences. -high-ly recommended
