Fun Irish Bar in close proximity to Candlewood Lake. Always something going on during the weekends. Bartenders are friendly and keep your glass full. Good place to watch a game or just to waste some time.

I stopped on a Monday night to meet a friend and have a couple of beers. The bartender was nice and attentive.
Decent selection of draft beers.
Only thing that threw me off was the disrespectful couple of guys I'd say in their 50s, probably tipsy trying to talk to my friend and me, making sexual suggestions. The bartender didn't say a word about it, being right in front of them.
But I guess that's the type of bar and regulars that go there .
Just for that I don't think I'd be going back.
Not the bars fault but at least the bartender should say something to their regular clients.

got kicked off a table pretty rudely, realistically what open bar have you been kicked off a table when there’s nobody sitting there
Ask yourselves would you spend money to be spoken down too by staff, i’ll literally just go across the street and spend my money there.
Say you try your hardest to be r

went last night on mother's day after seeing my mom in the nursing home. have been going for maybe 3 years with little problem. my mom is from Cork Ireland. I remember having capers on my blackened salmon a few times. I wanted it last night but the waitress insisted that they never used capers which I knew was a lie. so I tried the grilled chicken sandwich. could not even eat half of it. it was too grizzly and charred. she wanted to know if I wanted to take it home. I said no. I had to step outside to get some air. I was really sick. My ex came out and I asked him if she gave him a discount on the food. he was too embarrassed to ask. never again I will go back!!!. zero!!!
Great little spot, lots of Irish decor. The food was fantastic. Our waitress, Dana was super nice. Will stop in again!

Barmaid spent our whole dinner-time visit yucking it up loudly with a couple of guys at the bar, didn’t refill our drinks until we asked her and never brought my salad. We’ve had lunch here about 15 times in the past and usually have better service. This time it was pretty bad.

Bouncers needs to relax in this place. Bumping into your buddy to say hello or mess with them should be a normal thing. Watch what’s really happening.
