Went here with my wife for early dinner Saturday. Started off with the clams casino, first time to only get 4 clams. They were ok. My wife started off with the meatballs and ricotta cheese, watery sauce and soggy meatballs. Not impressed. Wife had the veal cutlet parm over pasta which was a super thin veal cutlet that the breading was thicker than the veal. Again watery sauce with the pasta. I had the seafood over was supposed to be fennel and saffron rice which I opted for linguini instead. I made the mistake of not opting to change the sauce. Seafood was good but again the sauce was a mistake. Very nice atmosphere and service, but unfortunately probably won't return.

Upon walking in my girlfriend and I were not greeted by anyone. We had to find someone who was wrapping up to-go food to help us. He then called over an older gentleman, who seemed very confused, to seat us. The older gentleman couldnt understand why we were there and kept looking at the guy wrapping food like " what do they want?". We said we would like a table please. The other guy laughed in awkwardness. The decor inside the dinning area is nicely done and the chairs at the tables are surprisingly comfortable. We were served bread and water fairly quick. The crust of the bread was very hard and should have been our first indication the food may be off. Our waiter, same gentleman who sat us, was very casual. Belt hanging loose, a bit sloppy, didn't read any specials or anything. Just " are you ready?" For appetizers we ordered the mussels, which were very large. No problem there. Flavor was just OK. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about. The main course, eggplant pasta was a ridiculously small portion for $22. I couldn't believe it. I figured it must taste amazing to be that expensive and this small of a portion. It waa certainly not. Absolutely bland and void of any real flavors. I had my girlfriend try to make sure it wasnt just me and she whole heartly agreed. I NEVER add salt to my meals at restaurants however in this case I had to. No taste of garlic or herbs. Just eggplant, taste of pasta noodles and wet sauce and cheese to keep it together. On my worst days I make better pasta. My girlfriend has the tuna steak which was well done. The waiter never asked how she would like it cooked so we figured they must know to get it at a right tenderness. It was a jaw workout trying to eat this thing. I tried it too, as we like to share small portions of our meals. The veggies were not seasoned with anything and the risotto was sticky when it should be creamy and a bit loose but not watery. The tuna was also mild in flavor even with the Wasabi drizzle. I never went to culinary school although I know I could have made both meals better which I don't typically say. Maybe it was the chef in the kitchen that day, maybe not.
We've been to countless restaurants in different states, seen and tasted many foods. I'm sorry but this place is below average especially for the price. Not worth coming back.
