I love the way Stews treats me, and the way they do things is my preference. The prices and portions are outstanding! Delicious and fresh. When I read the bad reviews, I shake my head at how unreasonable people can be. Think for a moment you are dealing with the public, and they are all different some are nice people some are rotten to the core, while I feel sorry for them, it is sad when they try to make trouble looking for some form of compensation or something more nefarious. But enough of the jerks of the world. The food is outstanding here and the folks that work here are great, never had one issues here. This is a fun place, so enjoy it and have some good times. If you're a nasty person, please don't come to my favorite store and try to ruin things for all the rest of us. I was there today it was first-rate, and I am heading back tomorrow, I look forward to each visit.

1.0 star rating The customer is NOT always right. I've been shopping at Stews for over 30 years. Got ripped off buying his Fried Shrimp. They were just Breaded Tails @ $13 per pound. Spoke with the manager and showed him the "shrimp". He agreed it was disgusting and said Stew doesn't make the shrimp; he said they buy bags of frozen shrimp and fry them. He offered a refund and a $20 gift card, which I refused as it was an inadequate compensation for blatant FRAUD, akin to when Stew Leonard didn't have one of his Cash Registers connected to the System, avoiding paying taxes. SHAME ON YOU STEW LEONARD!

I was eating my potato salad from here and there was a peice or PLASTIC WRAPPER. I am very frustrated. I probably won’t eat it again. This is ridiculous. This should not be happening in the food industry. Unacceptable.

You can find anything you want at Stew's. Everything is fresh and kept very clean. The frozen yogurt is a nice treat on a hot day or anytime of the year.

I never thought that going grocery shopping would be an entertaining experience, but here we are. This Stew Leonard's has animatronic animals and an overall forest-y feel to it, but otherwise it feels a bit like an overpriced Whole Foods. The food's good, though, and everything is fresh, so it's worth a visit or two, partly for the experience and partly to buy whatever specialty foods you can't find at your usual grocery store. They do sometimes have deals on food.

This place is still Disney for grocery shoppers The dancing animals and other exhibits are great for children, and there are usually free samples galore (avoid weekends if you can though). The quality is great but the prices are exorbitantly high, so browse, grab some of the specials and leave. Prepared foods are bountiful and what I've tasted was quite good, but again, pretty expensive. And the staff thrpoughout the store are by and large rude, with the exception of most of the cashiers, who tend to be quite friendly. Check it out....then go to Shop Rite for your groceries.
I was staying nearby while visiting friends and I found Stew Leonard's food bar was an excellent source for quick, nutritious meals. They have both hot and cold foods and the selection would please anyone. Don't forget to ask for utensils when you check out.

Sure, there are some good deals on tasty food - (I love the hot dogs and the ice cream) - but f you've never been, you should go for the singing cows and musical dairy products. (It's like the Country Bear Jamboree of Grocery Stores.) Also - there's a life-size Seinfeld cutout you can get your pic with. You can say you shopped where Jerry shopped. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
