As an individual who lived in Astoria for many years, I found a place that brings back memories of late night souvlaki’s on Ditmars Blvd. on my limited budget back in the days. Food is amazing, owner is courteous and the place has a quant feel to it. If you want authentic Lebanese food, this is the spot.

I gave the order first - a simple gyro A white family gave their order next - couple dishes They start making mine after they served them food ! ‘Subtle Racism’ they were aware about what they did too and tried to small talk me after seeing me noticing them getting served first. The most racist (or biased) people are the minorities to other minorities in America😂

very tasty juicy shawarma with lots of greens and aromatic tomatoes. friendly staff ready to help with the choice and answer all questions about the ingredients. clean spacious establishment
I tried the Beef Shawarma, and it was seriously on point. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The pickles added the perfect tang, and the tahini sauce tied it all together beautifully. Definitely worth coming back for!

Nice menu to select from to either eat in or take out. The place was very clean with friendly staff. I ordered the Hummus, Tabouli, Falafel and Veggie Grape Leave Platter. Generous portion for 1 person to eat. The hummus was thicker than many places but tasted good. The tabouli made with fresh parsley, etc. was tasty but to my palate – too salty. The grape leaves were just ok. 3 pieces of Falafel on the platter seemed salty for my taste. Everything comes with sliced Pita bread to make your own sandwiches. Will go back to try some of the other options. This is a nice addition to the Federal Road places for lunch/dinner.
