The vegetable sushi is fantastic! I can't comment on any other food. We used to enjoy dining in- the staff was pleasant and service good. We really wish they would open up for dining in again. The pick up is wasteful of plastic and there is next to no place to wait if your order isn't ready.

Food is pretty good, but please please PLEASE check your order before you leave!!! Order is right maybe 1 out of every 5 times. I am actually eating something I didn't order while writing this review.

The food is actually pretty good. I wouldn't rate it 5 stars, it isn't on the level of some of the better Asian restaurants in RI such as Kon. But it is better than most Chinese restaurants around the RI/CT line.I just don't understand why the lady working the register is always so rude to me. The other reviews here don't mention that she is rude - maybe she has a problem with me in particular? I am not sure why, I smile and am friendly towards her. I do like your food but you don't make me feel very welcome at your restaurant. I will order again because the food is good, but if the rude attitude continues then I might say something about it to your face next time.

Rating 2 stars as they have been take out only for years. If you're looking to go out to eat look elsewhere, take out I prefer China Garden right up the road...

We've only gotten take out, in fact, since covid I think they only do take out. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Plainfield / Brooklyn

New Ocean Palace in Brooklyn, CT, is a stellar family-owned Asian restaurant deserving of a glowing 5-star review. Owner Jason's commendable leadership is reflected in the well-trained staff, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The expansive menu offers a plethora of options, allowing you to try something new with each visit. The sushi is particularly noteworthy, contributing to an overall exceptional dining experience. It's a gem where good food and a warm atmosphere come together seamlessly.

This place used to be the place to avoid back in the day, but they've since gotten new management (or so I've been told) and they're amazing now!Wait times are always reasonable, and the portions are huge, but they make awesome leftovers. Not sure how their Pad Thai stacks up compared to Pad Thai from an actual Thai place, but boy howdy is it good - I get it all the time!I'd also recommend their beef teriyaki sticks and their General Tso's, although it runs on the spicy side (fair warning for those who aren't used to having it this way). There have been times where I'll try to call and the call keeps getting dropped, but it's easy enough to order online, so it's not really an issue. Atmosphere is what you'd expect at a Chinese takeout place, but the dining room is used as a storage area instead of a dining room, which is a little off-putting but easily overlooked.Overall this is a great place and a hidden gem for the Quiet Corner.Vegetarian options: There's a small vegetable section with a couple of tofu dishes included - I can't recommend the tofu with mixed vegetables enough!

Easily my favorite Chinese food in the Brooklyn area. It has never recovered from the pandemic in that it is still take out only, they have expressed a lack of staffing. The pricing is not skyrocketing like some other restaurants, which is a nice relief because you can still afford to eat here. Which, in my opinion, is exactly what everyone should be doing. In particular I'm a big fan of their yaki udon, both because it is very delicious and also it's not on many menus.
