At The Rooftop Reviews
Terrible service. Get better staff.
We ordered salads. The tables around us had their full meals and ate. Our salads never came. Our waitress tried to give us our check thinking they did (she never checked on us) and our salads had still not come. Terrible service! How do you try to get people to pay and not check to see if their food ever came?
We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner...read full review

At The Rooftop is a modern, chic restaurant that offers a variety of dining options in a stylish setting. The space features an elevator to the second floor and a rooftop bar, providing an open and clean vibe. Inside, the decor includes plush seats and a large crystal chandelier, creating a fancy yet comfortable atmosphere. Guests can sit inside, upstairs, or outside on the rooftop, which offers some views of colorful trees and a glimpse of the surrounding area, though much of the view is of a parking lot or a post office.
The menu is diverse, blending Japanese and American influences. For dinner, many enjoyed the sashimi platter, sushi, and Kani salad, all served with attentive and efficient service. The cocktails, like the Apple Cider Margarita, are well-made, though some drinks may face challenges like bees around the rim. The food includes small plates, tacos, and small bowls such as the rice bowl with Roasted Portobello Mushrooms, which features yellow fluffy rice, sriracha, roasted mushrooms, and seaweed salad—delicious and filling. Appetizers like oysters and calamari are fresh, flavorful, and tender.
Brunch is also popular, with options like Belgian waffles, Chicken & Waffles, artisan sourdough breakfast sandwiches, brunch burgers, and Eggs in Purgatory, all enjoyed by groups of visitors. The service consistently receives praise for being friendly and attentive, with servers remembering returning guests. Overall, At The Rooftop is a great spot for both daytime and evening dining, offering a modern atmosphere, varied menu, and enjoyable rooftop experience, especially when the weather is nice.
