I used to enjoy visiting this place, especially when cycling along the canal trail and stopping for a sandwich. However, my recent experience was disheartening. Upon entering and waiting my turn in line, the cashier snapped at me without any warning, "You need to leave the bike outside" There was no smile, no welcome, just an unwelcoming tone.

A simple "Hello, welcome to LaSalles. Unfortunately, bikes are not allowed inside, but please feel free to leave it outside and we'll gladly assist you," would have made a world of difference.

I truly like their sandwiches, but the staff's abrasive behavior has made me reconsider returning.

I completely understand their rule and have no problem with it. However, being treated with basic respect and courtesy is crucial, especially when enforcing rules.

Love this place, excellent sandwiches, pizza, and desserts. Had the Vermonter sandwich today, delicious! Turkey, bacon, sliced apples, and honey mustard sauce made for the perfect combination.

I visited the ice cream shop downstairs. They don't have a variety of flavors and no chocolate topping. Clean store, friendly staff and a little pricey.

Yesterday spent the morning fishing on the Farmington River, which by the way has many spots with excellent access to great fishing. Lunch time we went into Collinsville and settled on eating at Lasalle Market and Deli. Atmosphere smacks you as soon as you walk in, a great community feel and the place was buzzing. Bikers, hikers, walkers and yes even a couple of fishermen. the menu has something for everyone, and we both ordered the Vermont-er sandwich. Great choice, large sandwich with smoked turkey, havarti cheese, bacon and sliced apples on sourdough bread. great sandwich great taste very filling. Service was great, my kind of place. There is some outdoor seating available. Also close to canoe rental and the Farmington River Trail steps away. Would not hesitate to recommend this deli to anyone, really great stop.

I always enjoy a trip to LaSalle Market! The location is great at any time of year, with Collinsville being so quintessential New England. The restaurant is full of charm, the staff is friendly, and the food is wonderful.

We ordered two slices of cheesecake. The one was a caramel with chocolate cheesecake. The other was New York cheesecake. The New York cheesecake slice was actually half the size of the caramel and looked like it was even cut shorter. My friend brought it to the table and I couldn’t believe the difference in size and how it looked like it had come off someone else plate who didn’t finish it.
So, I took it back to the counter and asked the girl about it. She said it was a smaller cheesecake with smaller pieces. But, the cheesecake in the bakery case looked as if the sizes were larger than the one we received. I asked her if I could have another slice that would be the actual size. She looked at me and said an emphatic , “No.” she was so rude and disrespectful. She had longer dark hair and a ponytail. We are from out of state. Definitely will not recommend or go back there again. Should have asked for the manager, but I didn’t. She definitely has a lot to learn about quality customer service.

A Canton staple deli and pizza restaurant with open mic nights on Fridays during the sunmer. I do hope that they bring back draft beer.

Decent option for indoor or outdoor seating near the rail trail.
