A standard Panera Bread located in The Shops of Farmington. The first time I went in, I just ordered a hot coffee which was average. They give you a cup and you fill it up at the coffee station. The place was clean and the cashier was friendly and efficient. The second time, I ordered another hot coffee and a half chipotle chicken sandwich and broccoli and cheddar soup. I originally wanted the breakfast sandwich version with eggs on it, but it was 11 ish and they didn't have any eggs. The cashier asked their coworker, which I assumed was the manager if they had anymore eggs; he responded with a snarky "NO", I thought that was odd. We didn't know what exactly time breakfast ended, no snarkiness needed. The sandwich seemed a little skimpy but the flavor was good. The broccoli and cheddar soup was good; this also came with an apple or chips. Overall, it's average and a typical Panera Bread, nothing to write home about.

The service here is always good and the food is always fresh and hot! The people are very friendly. The music in the bathroom is incredibly loud so if you want to get your jam on in the bathroom it's a great place to hang out... however, my 87-year-old mother doesn't enjoy it too much and neither did several people walking out of the bathroom today as I left that were complaining about it.

Cappuccino was just coffee with cream. The turkey, avocado and bacon was terrible. It was made on the end piece of breadMostly tomato and greens. Bread was wet from all the mayonnaise. This is the second time I've had such an awful experience and it will be the last. The only good thing was the scone.

It's super overpriced portions were too small and the salad was hilarious it is not worth eating there and I'm not picky so anybody wants to go there you're on your own but I wouldn't suggest it

Nice spot to have anything from coffee to breakfast or lunch. Plenty of seating, a gas fireplace for colder evenings in the main dining area and a pleasant interior that makes the eating-in experience enjoyable.A kiosk with a few touch screens for patrons to punch in their orders was a bit user unfriendly to us, with so many pages and choices for add-ons or things that come with your meal. We found spending over five minutes to place two orders a bit cumbersome. Maybe we prefer actual wait staff that just asks us what we want off the menu. Or, maybe you can order at their counter and skip the kiosk, but we did not see anyone there except for the person who puts out your tray once your food has been prepared and your purchase has been sent to the kitchen. Choosing a simple drink or muffin must speed up the time with the touch screen. That said, both of our sandwiches were very good. My partner's was hot. He had the smoky buffalo chicken melt baguette which he added spinach, frizzled onions and chipotle sauce in addition to the hot sauce that's a component of this sandwich. He wanted red onion, too, but the computer said they were out of this ingredient. My lobster salad on a New England style bun was cold. I did not expect it to be as these rolls are usually served warm. I selected it as is with no additions. Full of fresh lobster and some lettuce, cooked perfectly, it is an impressive sandwich. We chose the fruit cup for our free add-on to the meal. It was fresh with a good variety of fruit: pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and cantaloupe. The Madagascar vanilla latte we shared was really delicious. Creamy, warm and the right amount of sweetness. No need for dessert with this coffee but Panera's has always had a fine selection from chocolate croissants to lemon drop cookies along with muffins and scones.

I am a frequent customer to this Panera location. Normally I get subpar service and mediocre enthusiasm from the workers. However, this past summer the workers have been exceptionally improved. One of the workers, Matt I believe, has been exceptionally helpful. I order my usually soup and sandwich and he seems to ALWAYS be working and handing me my food with a smile on his face. Thanks Matt!

Not my first rodeo. We visit Panera NUMEROUS times. Never like this one. My daughter and I along with her teammates eat at Panera when we have basketball tournaments and this time we had a home tournament at NorthStars in Canton so we went there. We never had issues at other locations. I wish I had taken a photo but no picture to share. Tuna sandwich was EMPTY and mac n cheese was two tablespoons. I approached the woman at counter who was nice and said “let’s get it right” and walked me down to the line where they were assembling. The one guy was SO nasty and said that’s what you ordered half a scoop that’s why it’s pick two. I said what does that mean??? He continued to give attitude and say that’s the portion “half a scoop”. The sandwich was EMPTY and he got the side wrong AND forgot a cookie. The other guy working alone side him said “don’t worry we’ll remake it l” and gave us two cookies for the trouble. Why is it so difficult to get a decent meal nowadays? We don’t care if it’s half a scoop don’t tell me something that I don’t care about. Make my sandwich and mac n cheese like the other Panera’s not half empty and give attitude. It was very inappropriate for the guy who messed up the side, cookies AND basically the entire meal on my order and give attitude. I really would like a manager to reach out. The team and I will NEVER use this location again

Stood for 45 minutes at least, for half salad dine in. Dressing was missing,Table dirty. Only 1 cashier at noon, with kids out from school, so very busy. Minimum should be 2 cashiers.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. It was busy, but the front end staff worked quickly to catch-up the food orders. Ordering was seamless and went quickly. We sat in one of the open booths and waited to be called up for our food order. The wait for the orders to come up was brief. I brought back the two lobster mac n cheese as well as the turkey sandwich, and we chowed down. Great tasting food and plenty of drink options to choose from.Stop in and give it a try!Kid-friendliness: There were several children's choices to choose from.Parking: Parking is right at the restaurants front door.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and entrance was handicapped accessible .

You can never go wrong by stopping here and having a quick bite to eat. It is great for when you are in a rush or have plenty of time. Just ordered a new hot, cheese and pepperoni sandwich!

I am a big fan of Panera restaurants. This is one chain where food is consistent and healthy across many locations and that is to be celebrated. I can't say enough how consistently disappointing this Panera location is; they are always understaffed; have changed their hours without posting updates online multiple times; the men's bathroom is frequently unclean and there is often a line out the door at peak times. This place is mis-managed.I would recommend, if at all possible, do not go here. Go to another Panera location. Otherwise your experience will be poor and you will regret coming here. Fortunately, there is a competent efficient Chipotle right across the street from this location if you ever need a reliable option. The excessive lines at peak times and understaffing: Frequently there are massive lines here with only one person working at the register. Many times, it will be the manager reporting that they are understaffed and they try to be apologetic for the wait. This doesn't happen at other Panera locations. Why are they so chronically understaffed? I've even seen an employee sitting in the bakery area on a laptop taking a company training during peak hours while the shop is swamped - what is going on?Unprofessional business hours: The entire store closed without warning during peak evening dinner hours one day in 2023 and there was no posting on the door. People from all over were being turned away by an employee greeting the door and explaining that they had a staff meeting - well then post an update online about it! I saw a friend of mine that same day who placed a mobile order and was going to pick it up--guess what? they said it couldn't be filled and he had to cancel through the app only after arriving. Luckily we both were smart enough to go to Chipotle which was able to handle an influx of disgruntled people who did not expect Panera to be closed. The mis-management here is consistent - it has been poor since 2020; all these problems are easily solvable which is the most frustrating part. I recommend - if you value supporting well run restaurants you go to Chipotle or American FlatBread (both infinitely more customer focused and in the Canton Shoppes locale) or better yet - a different Panera location.
