Go to Blue House and try new things!! I used to always get an everything bagel with cream cheese. Then I had the za'atar spice bagel and was delighted. Try new cream cheeses, try new coffee flavors, you won't regret it!

I am from Connecticut and live in Pennsylvania, but there are no bagels like the ones from The Blue House Bagel Co.! Always fresh and delicious. Staff also gets a huge kudos for being amazing! I will be stopping in before heading back to PA to bring some home.

As good as Montreal bagels without having to cross the border….

Staff ringing us out was friendly, barista looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. Waited over 40 min to get a chai latte and black coffee. I understand with small places like this that there will be a wait time (says on the sign that you could potentially wait up to 20 min). Okay fine, but 40? We finally asked if they even had our drink ticket to which they responded oh well we had to remake our chai… maybe let us know that instead of us just standing there wondering where our drinks were? Just a thought.

Thought it would be a cute place to stop in on our way home, but the overall experience was less than stellar. Hopefully our bagels make up for the rest of our time there.

The egg and bacon stuffed bagel is 8/10 delicious. The only thing holding it back is it needs more cheese... can't wait to try the wild main blueberry ?

The best bagels in the area! The flavors are unique as well, both bagels and cream cheese flavors. They seem to always be trying new things which I love.

10/20/2024 - just editing the service a little. Today we waited 24 minutes for our drinks and close to 10 people who ordered behind us were served before us. So we asked and after a pause they found our order. No apology or immediacy offered. I understand things may fall through the cracks. I just expect that to be acknowledged and maybe a little empathy.

I Live on Long Island and grew up in New York City, so I consider myself a bagel maven. Friends and relatives have been telling me about BlueHouse Bagels. It was a beautiful fall day, I decided to shelep 3 1/2 hours to Canton CT, and see what all the fuss was about. You can't miss the bakery. It is an old farmhouse painted bright blue. Upon entering the aroma of fresh baked bagels and brewing coffee hits like meeting an old friend. The appearance of many special bagels and pastries is displayed in a contemporary fashion. I being a bagel purist ordered a plain bagel with a shmear. There are additional rooms with tables and chairs. These 2 rooms have the feel of the warmth of an old country kitchen.
Now the bagel. They are baked golden brown. With the first bite, I knew I am going to enjoy this bagel. It is chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. It has a mild sourdough taste which is unique. I was informed by the owner that each bagel has 15 grams of protein, no sugar added, and reduced salt. These bagels are so good I took 3 dozen home. BTW, the coffee is fresh ground and delicious. The bakery is super clean with a can-do friendly staff. If you are lucky enough that they baked their special oatmeal raisin cookie grab one you will never have one that good again. I plan on making the trip to CT often just to eat these wonderful and delicious bagels.
