I love these bagels! They are not your average bagels, which makes them sooo much better, and much more satisfying on the stomach.
wonderful bagels, very friendly staff!
Best bagels I’ve ever had, and they’re great to take home to freeze so I can still enjoy them at home, even days later
Best bagels ever.
First time experience here, fast service and delicious
The bagels were AMAZING and the vegetables in my sandwich were so fresh and delicious! Would come again when I visit CT :)
everything was great
Loved my pigpen bagel!!!
Friendly staff and seriously the best bagel I’ve had in CT!
This place is a really inviting, comfortable place to enjoy breakfast. I had an egg/cheese on toasted plain bagel and latte. Both were splendid!! I especially enjoyed the ambiance in the eating areas including the music which is not overwhelming. The place is extremely clean and staff taking orders very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend visiting this gem.

An old world classic bagel with a fresh twist - my family and I love all of their bagels and try to make it out weekly to get our fix of sourdough bagels!
The bagels from Blue House Bagel never disappoint! The customer service is great too, they take their time with every customer that walks in the door. Always happy to support this small business, even if it means occasionally having to wait in a line...that moves quickly!!
Really yummy bagels, great sandwiches and a super beautiful ambience! perfect place to go for a bagel run!
They have the best bagels, but also love that the eggs and veggies are fresh and local!
Update: 5mos after the original post I went back and yet again feel the cost doesn’t match the value, and the cream cheese is still a smidge rather than a schmear. Added a photo of my most recent visit below, along with a photo from a neighboring bagel place that I visited the next day because I wanted a proper bagel and cream cheese. Note the difference.
Bagels are good. Variety of flavors. And the business touts their quality conscious process and ingredients. But it stops there. Paltry cream cheese, wouldn’t consider it a schmear, more of a gentle touch of cream cheese. It’s really uncool when businesses don’t ‘walk the walk’. I’ve asked why they use pesticide heavy (non-organic) oat milk and if they’d consider using organic non-dairy more in line with their advertised ethos. The response was ‘the barista likes this brand because it foams’. Pretty superficial. Especially for all the superior quality proselytising (i.e, in store and online displays of ‘these are the reasons we’re better than the next bagel’). It also seems sus that they reward good “4 star” reviews with free bagels. It’d be great if they put napkins in the to-go orders, if the barista wasn’t glacially slow and moody, if the minimum pre-order was one dozen instead of two dozen, and if their hand-sani dispensers were full/worked. So this is an honest, non-rewarded review of where Blue House could improve.
