Had a great experience with my family at this cute little restaurant. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. The owners made you feel at home. And I definitely recommend their desserts even if it’s to take home. Will definitely be going back there again for sure.

The owner of this establishment was so amazing. So kind. The food was so good. Fresh veggies, the food so much flavor. Also have an assortment of international Candy and desserts besides the thia food. Great family run business. Highly recommend

The first time I tried their pineapple fried rice I was instantly transported to being overseas again. The flavors that come through the dishes are divine and have made me a guest for life. They make all of their food with love and the service is impeccable as well. On top of that, they now sell high quality chocolates too!

We have eaten at the Green Papaya many times over the years. Food is excellent, always fresh and tasty. Dirk is awesome. Always fun to see him and he provides excellent service. We would highly recommend going there with friends and family. One of our favorite restaurants.

Fantastic experience! I had a late lunch here with 5 other people, the service was quick and incredibly friendly. They stopped to chat with us for a while which was wonderful. Beyond that the portions are large and delicious. Highly recommend, one of the best small restaurants around.

Take a Belgian and have him open a Thai restaurant…sounds odd? Well that’s exactly what this is! Turns out this is a labor of love by a Belgian (Dirk in our story) who married into a Thai family and eventually moved to this part of Connecticut. The flavors of the Thai food are fantastic and the heat (I’m always careful not to go beyond Medium for Thai) is as per CT standards (read very mild). The twist to this is the option to indulge in some excellent Belgian chocolate mousse aaand if you prefer buy Leonidas chocolates after dinner. Quant and sweet interiors and the food - soup, entree and the dessert was excellent. Can’t go wrong if you’re in the area so definitely give Dirk’s restaurant, The Green Papaya a chance and you won’t regret it.

Just had the pineapple fried rice with pork, it was amazing!!!! Clean eats you actually feel good about what you ate. Thank you so much for your care in what you guys do the flavors and quality product you put out is exceptional and don't get me started about the Belgian chocolates they have to offer also worth every penny!!!!!

Excellent, authentic Thai cuisine. Great place for a relaxing meal, not for those in a hurry.

Dirk is wonderful! Net is the chef! Thank you for your restaurant! Fresh, appetizing Thai Food. Salads were very tasty and filling. Fried Rice and duck dish were very good. Atmosphere is so pleasant. Enjoyed your desert as well! Glad we found it! Worth the trip!

Food was excellent, service was very helpful, atmosphere was nice. It's a small restaurant with parking available in the back. Lots of vegetarian options, and the waiter was very knowledgeable on allergens. The curry puffs were excellent!
