Food wasn’t cooked chicken had blood owner came over attempted to defend uncooked food. This place appropriates Mexican food but has no clue what the culture of Mexican food is about avoid this place if at all possible. Horrible experience. Just reviewing the other reviews seeing the owner use divisive language in the response says all you need to know about this place !

Overall we had a good experience, Food was very good, some very unique, wife loved the flight os salsas! Two things that need some work to get 5 stars, one is staffing, on the Wednesday we visited only two waitresses were working the floor, including the bar and hosting. I've never waited so long to be seated when there was no line and tables were ready! Once seated waitresses was awesome but she was clearly overworked that night. Also we were surprised on how small menu was, not a fan of overly large menus but this did not provide lots of options. Also first choice of beers we ordered off menu were out. So cooks great, waitresses great, management, not so great.

The food was, as always, outstanding. We had a new waiter that was really trying but should not have working yet as he didn't know anything about the menu or options. Will come back soon.

Great tequila list! Wish we could have mixed/matched the tacos, but with a group, we were able to do that anyway. The salsa flight was delicious, but the spiciest could have been spicier. Bring it on!!! The tres leches was wonderful as it wasn't too sweet. The churros beignets were a little heavy and I was hoping for just churros, which I feel are generally lighter. But the rest of my party disagreed.

The service was poor—no one attended to us for 10 minutes and our waiter didn't tell us any of the specials. The food was good (but pricey) and came out quickly after we finally ordered.

We so enjoy Los Charros. When we realized it was National Marguerita Day, this was our last minute and only place to go. I have to argue with my husband to go out for Mexican-not here!!

We dined here last week and had a great time. It is an upscale atmosphere. some of the reviews seem to be confusing the type of place this is. It was a pretty young crowd. Seemed fun. We started with a chips and salsa flight, which allowed us to sample several different salsas. Many very tasty; some I would have never tried otherwise, so I appreciated being able to branch out. For entrees, we had shrimp ajillo fajitas and pork belly tacos and really enjoyed both. Flavorful and large portions. I did not love the churro beignets for dessert, so next time I may try tres leches instead. (Nothing wrong with them; maybe they're just not my style.) The servers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Quick, and attentive.

Server mistook order then seemed upset that we noticed the error and then even more when we asked for error to not be on the bill. I have celiac and ordered all GF items but seemed to have contaminated as I was sick following the meal. Food was tasting great and price was right.

The veggie encciladas were very dry, needed more mole, and that needed to be less thick. Also, I expected both the crema sauce and cheese to be more liberal. Gauc and chips: nice that it was cold..a bit too spicy. My guest liked the fish tacos, too spicy for her to enjoy. The Diego Rivera mural was fabulous.. led to lots of conversation!!

Going to give 4 stars only because happy hour has some good deals. But 28 dollars for a taco salad with meat is crazy! Photo is of the 5 dollar burger. Happy hour 330 to 5

Love Los Charros. I've been there a few times now and the food is always good. I had the quesadilla and it was delicious. The chips are a bit too hard but the salsa is also delicious. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was fun.

I would say, my experience was mixed. The food was imaginative, but not all great for the prices. They are charging were better than others. It was also difficult to have a conversation because the music was too loud.

Too noisy. Don’t like table set up. Not cost and intimate. Margaritas not tasty. Over priced. Food is yummy though. Small menu.
